Recently Aptive has been sending their employees/sale persons around to homes at late hours. I had one turn up at my home in Concord, California at 8:45PM - did not ring the bell - did a light knock on the front door - tried to check for cameras. Fortunately my camera caught him at the door which I forwarded to Next Door Neighborhood. So far I have had over 25 responses from neighbors with the same complaint. A pushy salesperson came to my home and gave me what sounded like a good pitch on Aptive's services. Although he showed me some info on his Tablet and we discussed some services and prices, the specific details of total cost, number of treatments, etc were not clear. He did not provide a contract that I could read. I asked him to email me one so I could review before agreeing to schedule, which he wanted to do in two days. I received two emails from Aptive. I had aptive come out to my house to do a re visit because we had some very annoying ants. Eric C***** came out to do my service and he did great! He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to help me with my problem. Great job! Will definitely continue using them when I move to the next house!

This company is horrible. They do not care about their customers or potential customers. There is a “No soliciting” sign at the front of our neighborhood and our neighborhood takes the rule of “No soliciting” very serious. Every solicitor is blasted over the Neighborhood Facebook page, and solicitors are told by almost every house about the rule. 1st initial appointment was to be inside and out. Did not do the inside. I was not home my wife was. The guy that showed up was nice and professional according to the wife. Just didn’t do the service I was told that I would get. Even text him to do outside first then I would let dog out so he could do the inside. Was hoping this would work out but it didn’t. In the future do not mess up on your first visit.
Salesman ignored my "Absolutely no soliciting of any kind" sign and pounded on my door, waking me up. When I opened my door, he went into a spiel about insect control. I pointed to my sign and read it to him. He said he wasn't selling me anything, until I call to setup an appointment. I told him to get off my property and I wasn't interested and shut my door.
