I do not recommend this service. I tried it out for a year (or so I thought). I noticed no difference in insect activity in my yard and even had an ant infestation in my kitchen while on vacation. I had my doubts about this from the beginning, so I wasn't too surprised that it had no noticeable affect on reducing insects in my yard. My issue with this company is that I had signed up for a year's worth of pest control sprayings to be provided every quarter. My initial service spray began on 7/09/21. I will NEVER allow Aptive Pest Control to service my home again! They are a horrible company!*Continous re-service *after paying for 1 year of service up front/ in full and on my contract was put in writing by the sales guy, "DO NOT RENEW" this company decided to bill me for another month because I did not call the company to cancel the service! I called into the main call center to discontinue my service. After a 5 minute wait, I was told Aptive has a policy where they do not permit you to hold or speak to a loyalty rep during your call to cancel services. Their policy requires the customer to hang up and wait for the rep to return your call. Of course this did not occur, I did not receive a return call. Is this company a scam? They came to our front door and talked up their product and services. We have a terrible ant problem in our backyard and they confirmed this is something they can control. They offered $200 off if we signed that day. Such a good deal, right? Well, during the first spray we walked around with the pesticide technician and showed them our problem areas. After the initial service, we noticed an immediate improvement with the ant situation in our house. Even with the intense heat, and other neighbors dealing with lots of ants indoors, we are glad that we signed on. For today's service, ******** was friendly and thorough in addressing the backyard area. And he successfully removed a wasp nest from our carport! This is the first time I am writing a review for Aptive but felt the need because our service provider was terrific. We had **** and I hope we can have him back again. He addressed my concerns at the time and also told me he put traps down for our voles. He was courteous and pleasant!

Our technician was conscientious and thorough. He did a good job of removing cobwebs around our windows. Nevertheless, our problem has been ants, particularly inside the house, and more so than usual this year due to hotter and dryer dry weather than normal. Unfortunately, spraying the exterior perimeter of our home has not been effective in eliminating ants – it slows them down, so to speak, but they're still within the house's structure and, therefore, still inside the house.
