I believe the way that aptive is selling their services is a scam. They make you believe you are getting a deal but in reality they lock you into a long term contract just to use their services. The guy that sold me the product told me i only have to get them to come 4 times, but in the contract wrote down as 9 times, then tried to charge me $200 for cancelling. Their business is not pest control, its manipulating people to sign the contracts to lock in payment and charging people cancellation fees. That is the business mode... read more
I switched from Greenix to Aptive in August 2023. Big mistake. Aptive is scheduling appointments every 30 days for outside pest control. First time I tried to use their automated system to reschedule - it would not let me. Every time I clicked on next appointments, it told me there were none available. So I was charged $129 in August and September, 31 days apart. Received a text message saying I was scheduled again for October 3 at $129. I have tried to stick with aptive and had many issues with them over the last 2 years. They give no notice on when they are coming, frequently received a text message ***************************************************************************** received a text friday night for a monday appointment. They never wanted to spray the interior of the home and I had to specify specific areas for them to spray inside and they would not do the whole perimeter inside. They are thieves. I have half a mind to *** these people. They locked me into a contract, fine. But then I didn't even get the service I paid for. After the second time in a row they canceled on me I terminated my service and they stole 200 dollars from me. They were more than happy to break contract and the second I call them out, Boom 200 stolen. Exercise your second ammendment right and do not let these drunk teenagers anywhere near your property. This whole business is a scam.

I had the same experience as everyone else on here. Tied into a contract that I didn't know had a $200 cancellation fee. A salesman for Aptiva stopped by my home with high pressure sales tactics, I have dealt with them before. I told him No thank you. He continued his spiel, talking over-top of me. I repeated that I was not interested to no effect. I stopped him and said those famous words No Solicitation. Again, this had no effect. Deceptive marketing, did not resolve the pest problems that they said they would. Always had different people coming to my house, and the technicians showed up and did not know what they were supposed to do and then would call me. My Service went on for a while and nothing changed at my house so I fired them. After this was done I received an invoice for $199 dollar service cancellation fee. Not impressed with this company! My husband signed us up without telling me. ( another issue) I found out when first person came out. I asked what was covered. ********* did not know. He asked what pests we had. I told him about our wasp issue. He could not treat 2 of the wasp areas as they were on the roof, Apparently they are not allowed to get up on a ladder.
