Illegally changed the parameters of the contract from quarterly to every other month without any notice or written permission. Refuses to discuss the issue, unable to reach the account manager required to resolve. Finally reach account manager to be told would get callback and refund. Neither happened. Called back again still unable to reach anyone to discuss the problem, resolve the concern or issue the refund required. I wish I never got involved with this company. They make it very difficult to cancel the contract as allowed by the contract terms. The emails provided on the contract do NOT work. I will never do business with them again!
Initially had a bad experience with this company due to a field employees actions . I tried to resolve issue over the phone and encountered a pretty hostile conversation at the hands of the aptive rep . Although i did file a complaint with bbb , this information got to the appropriate party and was resolved expeditiously . On two occasions I was provided with an ineffective visit where no real value or work was performed. I called to report the issues and offered to share video evidencing my concern for the last visit on 4/5. I have clear evidence but **************** was only interested in sending someone else out to reapply. I cant baby sit and monitor service completion. Despite hundreds of complaints/horrible reviews for this and each other Aptive location nationally, BBB continues to give them an A+ rating, demonstrating the uselessness of BBB to get an incompetent, fraudulent, and otherwise harmful company downgraded. Almost impossible to end service; I finally had to send a dated e-mail (in June 2022) to customer service saying I had settled my final bill and would pay for no further services. Warning to all that try to use this company! On 3/10/2023 we had Aptive Pest Control come out for pest control. The technician's name the came to our home was ********************************* from the ********* ** facility location. I proceeded to explain to him about the areas that needed attention around the home. He did unfortunately state a rude remark to me and I quote.." So you're telling me my job?" Not a respectable company. They cash my payment check and then pretend they never got the money. I mail them an image of the cancelled check and they finally admit I paid them. This happened twice this year, so we cancelled the service with them.
This company would never let us cancel the service, continue to pay monthly and they turned ** over to a collection agency which I just paid in full. Do not use this company you will lose money at the end without any correspondence or service.
STAY AWAY!! Would leave no stars if I could. I canceled them after one session and theyre charging me a $199 fee. Never mentioned one word about it even after I called and spoke to a person to cancel. Then claimed they sent an email requesting the fee and after I didnt respond (because I didnt receive) sent me to collections. What a bunch of thieves.
