I don't like to give negative reviews, but in the case of Aptiva, I'm making an exception. The last time they said they came to service our home, they didn't come and we could tell because we still had cobwebs in our eaves and there was no sign in the yard and no receipt on the door. We called to let them know we had not received service and the next day, someone stopped by in their truck, got out, put a sign in the yard and drove away in a matter of less than a few minutes. Service was good for over a year, then they stopped answering their phones. I tried calling about 40 times to get them back out for an ant problem. Would not even return my call. I called another service and was taken care of the next day. They still pester me with scheduled service even though I canceled months ago. Horrible customer service. Horrible.
They just charged me $112 for quarterly service and no one ever showed up. No text, no call, no card at the door, no receipt in my mailbox. Someone is always home here, and definitely no one from Aptive showed up. They used to send texts out or phone calls to alert you when someone was coming. And then the technician would call you when they arrived. Then the technician will leave a receipt or card when he’s done. None of that happened, but they charged my credit card. What a scam. The guy came over today and was here for maybe 12 minutes. After he left I checked out the house and found a huge spider web on my front porch so obviously he didn’t treat it. This was the second time they came and there’s spiders back 2 days later. I sent emails and texts with no reply or response.
Sales guy came to my house banged on the door and rang the doorbell. Answered the door with a newborn I was trying to feed while my dogs were going crazy. He is trying to sell some service, no mask on during a pandemic and is trying to talk to me while I hold a newborn. So inconsiderate and unprofessional. Signed up with this company a few months ago, they have been out twice. They say they can take care of anything but after them spraying two times everything is still there a day or two later and never gets better especially the ants. The spray they also use is supposed to be safe for animas but both dogs were sick for 3 days after they sprayed the last time and we waited two hours to let them out even though they recommended one. RecommendedIt took a few days, but I have not seen all the ants we normally have this time of year. The time passed quickly and it's another quarter - without ant in my kitchen! My technician, Aaron, arrives on time - checks in to see if there are new directives. He arrives with a mask on and stays a good 6' back which I appreciate.
Poor work ethic and inconsistent results!! If technician, Haadee, came to complete our service every quarter I would be a happy camper as he was very thorough. However, every other technician has failed at completing the job I was under the impression I was paying for. Typical experience = NO cobweb removal, quick 5-10min in and out, and very little insecticide application. I have even had a technician show up, sit in his car for 10min, send invoice via email, pull out and LEAVE! I do not know one person who is okay with pay... read more
