I have had nothing but problems with this company from day 1. The car that Is currently in my procession is not the car I agreed to purchase. I said purchase not lease and that is another thing I was not told. The first car I only had 2 weeks and only drove twice because it was defective. I purchased a vehicle Sept 24 and the check engine light is on the location I bought it from closed the door "for remodeling" but the manager I purchased my car from claims she came in to locked doors and no explanation I have went to the other location for them to put me on a phone to Memphis which I have done 100s of times and get a voicemail which I have yet to get a call back. I'm very disappointed with my experience with American Car Center.
This place is horrible biggest mistake I made getting a car from them in Jacksonville, Fl. They mae it seem like a good deal and then you are stuck. You pay more then the car is worth and then at the end still have to pay 3-4k to purchase the vehicle truly a rip off. It does not show up on credit reports so it does absolutely nothing for you to pay on time. Then when you are late they shut of your car no matter what. Hello, My mother purchased a car from American Car Center two years ago and has been trying since August to get her tags through the car company since she has reached her residual. Her tags have been expired since August 2021 and no one including managers have been able to assist her with getting this resolved. My mother has health issues and needs to be able to drive to visit the doctor and pickup medicine but having expired tags have prevented her from doing so. First off, I bought a 2015 chevy cruz from the blanding location in jacksonville fl. I had the car for not even 48 hrs the car started running hot. Come to find out the car had a hole in the radiator. I asked the sales rep that did my contract since there is already a problem can we just put me in a different car the sales rep informed me that my paper work was already finalized and that it was not possible , I asked for a lender car til my car was fixed I was informed they didnt have one to give out. Purchased car on 10/16/20. November repair for ignition switch due to car not able to be started. January 2021 my turbos had to be replaced thankfully they sent to *****. October 2021 my car was leaking oil, mind you I get regularly oil changes, car smoking, making a tapping loud sound from under the hood. I bought a chrysler 200 in june and I made every attempt to pay my car payment. I ended up having to go without transportation because as a similiar situation like many of the customers here my car wasn't maintained when my warranty was valid the only good thing they did was allow me to get a free oil change at pep boys.
