I have rented from Tricon for 3 years now. My lease ended today. I was suppose to meet someone at the house for a move out inspection. I got there. I waited 10 minutes and no one showed. I called to see if anyone was coming and it took quite awhile to get in contact with someone. I was told no one was coming because they didnt know I was going to be there. I moved into a residence owned by a smaller Property ****************** in March of 2018. Tricon took over the property and purchased it in June of 2018. I must say that this is when things began to go downhill. During this entire time - 3/18 to 8/21- I never missed a rental payment. I had one late payment by one day because of a bank card issue (my error) in the entire time that I rented from this organization. If i could give no stars i would!!!! I have been trying to get my balance cleared since March of this year. Their auto payment system didn't take my payment and caused me to have a late fee which i requested to get removed. i then attempted to pay my rent with the amount i thought i owed but wasn't sure since they did not remove the balance owed in a timely manner which made me have to guess what my new increased rent amount was. This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. First things first, I moved in on 9/15. We did not know there would be construction on the block so all day we had to argue with getting pass whenever we came or went. We would have to wait up to 15 mins each time to get in and out of the block. There was dirt and dust all over our furniture, cars and moving truck because of this. Although the blame may not be on Tricon, it would have been a nice heads up. The day of move in, we noticed multiple dead bugs. This w... read more

Been renting with trick for years. I wouldnt rent with anyone else but these guys. Always addressed my issues in a decent amount of time. Nice houses and nice neighborhoods

The leasing process was NOT smooth. They want our deposit, forms, and paperwork urgently but do everything on their time. I had to reach out numerous times to see if we were approved. I received zero reply from any of my phone calls. Everything had to be done via emails and even then, the only person to respond to me was ***********************. WORST COMPANY EVER. they took our $450 application and holding fee and denied us due to credit issues. the holding fee was refunded but they kept the $200 applications fees. lame, but expected at this point, but here's where it gets worse.; we apply to another home listed by trichon residential and THEY MAKE ** PAY ANOTHER $450 IN APPLICATION FEES!!! they continued to justify the need for additional fees when we had just applied not even a few days before! Hello, I sold my home on July 22nd 2021 to Tricon residential they made the closing quick which i did like however this highly greedy company offered for me to stay in the property and rent short term without a full lease agreement. During these times finding rental properties are impossible in the Tampa Bay area. They don't take care of their property. The house has mold forming on the sides. When I told them about this matter, their response was if I wanted it did it would be my responsibilty. This is not my house so if they don't care why should I. The house needs power washing bad
