Found a rental that looked perfect for us, but wanted to tour the property in person before committing to an application because of the fees. Pictures are nice and all but can be deceiving, so we wanted to view it first. **************** person gave us a code to do a self tour. Went there and code did not work, tried several times. They said they would have to send someone out to fix it and could take 1-2 weeks. I've been with Tricon for 6 1/2 years and she was my leasing agent back then. ******* helped me find the home I'm in and she made sure I was comfortable. Since then she has been promoted but ******* still possess the willingness to ensure her residents are taken care of. Even in her current role. This is a SCAM!! Worked with ********************* and she was not helpful. She denied my application because my manager was out of town for the weekend and did not respond fast enough to her liking. She is also not available to speak on the phone and only communicates via email. I called **** number and they were unable to get it touch with her. Save your money, this company is a SCAM. She told me I could reapply and see if I am able to rent but I have already paid the application fee and am not going to again.

The house we rent was recently sold and Tricon is the property management company. I got an email from my landlady on 5/23 that sale went through and I will be receiving correspondence from a property management company soon. I didn't hear anything within a few days and reached out to the former landlady on 5/28 and 5/31 and she said she's reached out to her realtor and hasn't heard anything.Fast forward to 6/6 and I receive an email from Tricon Residential titled ********** Tips from Tricon Residential". Having Acute asthma andxmy husband extremely ill with liver cancer. I began to get really sick, after two doctor visits mold was found all under our crawl space.. my husband was hospitalized and I had ti get out and stay with relatives. It's been over a month they keep sending people out..my doctor's have advised me I can not go back in along with some of the techs who have checked it out. I have lived in a Tricon property for almost a year now. We have had THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever moving in. We got approved for the property and paid the deposit and first month's rent while I was 6 months pregnant and our move-in date was July 21st. They also tried telling me rent is actually ******* a month vs **** just because of high demand AFTER we signed our lease for ****.00/month. I have been a resident for almost 2 years. My a/c goes out every year. This year I had hvac guys come in my home 2 weeks ago and air went out again in 3 days then today they were in my home for almost 5 hours just to leave me without air. I have a toddler with reactive airways disease. For the 3 days with no air we went to a hotel. Now they come again and leave us with no air in *****. I've had 6 leaks in this house and they have done nothing for assistance or compensation. Many things of mine have been ruined and I have missed a lot of work to be available for the plumbers. You get no response from the emergency line which is great when currently I've been without AC for over 24 hours in the ***** heat with a newborn at home. They don't care about you and only want your money.
