WARNING to ALL potential residence…I recently leased a property with Tricon American Homes in Hampton, GA exactly two weeks ago. The staff made sure they received all necessary documents and payments prior to my move-in date and once I moved-in it has been dead silence. Our investigation shows Mr. Manfred reached out to Tricon Residential on the day of his move in (11/20) as he needed assistance with activating his smart home lock. My husband and I have literally only been in the home not even more then three weeks. For one the home was no cleaned when we moved in even though we were told by Francine Stephans that it was. Two our air conditioner went out for three days and no help to get it resolved. There was a shortage in the breaker box for the air conditioner, my husband almost electrocuted himself doing what the technician instructed. My husband and I applied to rent a home and were approved right away. Then the lease agreement was sent over, that is when things became fishy. We had exactly 48 hours to read through a 23 page lease and ask and have answered all of our questions. I've never read such a harsh sounding lease agreement before that places all responsibility of repairs and fault on the tenant. My husband and I rent a home from Tricon American Homes in Dallas, TX. Our AC unit went out during an 100 degree day in Texas. I called in an emergency maintenance request to fix the unit. I spoke with 4 people within 18hour span and I we were told was the order is being sent out as an emergency dispatch and we should here from someone soon. NO ONE ever called or came by. I would give this business a 0 star rating or even a negative star rating if that were possible. My roommates and myself rented at a location in Tampa, FL. To give an initial idea of their incompetence, they misspelled my name of the lease in TWO different ways even though I gave them the correct spelling and my name is literally in my email. If I could give zero stars I would! I've lived in my current neighborhood for 13 years and a house three doors down has been a rental for the past few years. Tricon doesn't screen their tenants fully and allows anyone and everyone to move in. We've had numerous issues with the last tenants that moved in. During this pandemic many people’s finances have taken a hard hit and Tricon American homes offers no real relief for residents! My job like many others shut down for a significant amount of time and although some jobs are now getting back to normal that’s not the case for everyone including me! I am currently in Atlanta area the staff is very unprofessional rude and take no responsibility for their mistakes. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! I have had a work order on for Sheetrock l falling off wall for over 3 weeks. Still not resolution.
