They took over our previous leasing company and it's been crap ever since. Horrible customer service, they stopped spraying for scorpions (AZ), grounds are not up kept as well, shut down the rental office so no more in person assistance. I have rented from Tricon America Homes for around five years now. I've always had issues with their company especially with accounting. They never take accountability for their mistakes. This month of August I paid my rent online at around 12:03 a.m. on the 6th. There was no late fee when I paid. On the 16th of August I got an email I need to pay $69 late fee. I have rented from Tricon for a few years now and just recently renewed my lease. I have had quite a few maintenance issues and they were resolved. Might have took a while, but they did it. I would not trust this company. Their leasing agents, at least the one I dealt with, are not very responsive and lie to get business or gather information. I was told that a house was available and that there were no pending applications just to gather my personal information and then I was told after the weekend that the house was leased out. Crappy unprofessional company! They purchased the home I was renting then transferred all my utilities without my knowledge and I had to pay to have them set up again. These people are rude and hard to get in touch with. During the last paid full month of my lease they were attempting to put my family and I out in the streets because of mistakes by their property manager! I have tried to settle a debt with Tricon. One of their employees told me I had no balance 2 weeks later another employee told me I do via email. I was interested in a home that was managed by this company and I called to inquired about the home. I spoke with 3 different people on different occasions. I was advised that the home wasn’t available until the next month. I was also advised to put in an application and pay the holding fee to hold the home. I was approved within 24hours. If I could leave zero stars I would. My fiancé and I applied for a home a couple of days ago, the next day we were immediately approved pending ID verification, and income. Being a bartender I submitted my back statements for proof of income as I do not receive an hourly paycheck. Miriam Garcia called to inform me I would need 3 months deposits opposed to the 30 days paystub. I saw no issue with this and provided the 90 days statements.
