Great Service Great Staff
The staff took such wonderful care of my mom Connie Evans. Please pass this review onto them. Wish I could remember all their names.
In 3 days I took my daughter to Unity multiple times and they kept sending her home saying it was nothing without even really checking her out. We took her to Mercy and they actually cared and took steps to figure out the problem. I know these are sister hospitals but one couldn't tell by the differences from staff alone. I will never go back to Unity and they should do a complete employee turnover. In that business you at least need empathy and you should act like you actually care about the patients. Thank you Mercy!
At all costs, stay clear of this institution. Witnessed too many fatal errors performed here.
I love Mercy Hospital. It has never done wrong by me. The staff of professionals are always great, even under adversity and stress of an off the charts busy Monday. That being said, 9 hours of lobby waiting to see an ED doctor is ridiculous. Even for a "Monday", which according to staff is always eventful. I tried to be seen at an Urgent care first (Allina clinic at Springbrook). Urgent care sent me to the ED. Allina's trauma care at Mercy needs some help in handling and directing patients. Maybe an Urgent care is needed at ... read more
Thank you to all the kind nurses, doctors, and other staff who helped my daughter during her ER visit and stay in the East building this weekend. Everyone was so gentle and kind. The pediatrician Dr Farber was wonderful. They made a very scary situation as comfortable as possible. We will always be grateful to Mercy hospital for helping our girl. Thank you
Recently my mother had a knee replacement at Mercy. The experience for her and our family couldn’t have been better. The professionalism of the entire staff from initial check in through surgery and recovery and physical therapy classes was beyond our expectations! The 5 East staff was compassionate, patient, and caring at all times. This was a stressful experience for an elder patient, but the actions of this team made this visit to the hospital almost enjoyable. Please accept our appreciation and recommendations for this o... read more
Never have I received such poor care in my life. Here were some things I experienced during my 2 day stay at Mercy for what was supposed to treat a cellulitis infection, and more specifically, what I experienced under the care of Dr. Ann Whitney: 1: Being given insulin despite not having eaten for 12 hours, causing my blood sugar to crash. 2: Frequently being told I might die by my doctor due to low blood sugar, when this has literally never been in issue until I was admitted, and in my lifetime of being a diabetic. 3: My do... read more
Your better off to go to the vet than the emergency room here when someone is in tears from severe pain and cant sit and needs to lay down and they tell you they can lay on the couch in the waiting roominstead of putting in a room with a bed! I wouldn't bring a sick pig to them!
