I would not recommend going here. You actively have critical care nurse that has stated online she doesn't care if a patient dies if they weren't wearing a mask. Furthermore, she states she will remove someone off of a vent because someone else's life is worth more. This nurse is playing God and has likely murdered patients!!
My husband had surgery there. From check in to discharge with an overnight stay, the nursing staff was absolutely incredible! Thank you for ALL you do constantly responding to your pages yet showing an abundance of kindness, compassion and dedication to caring for my husband, myself and all your other patients. Best hospital experience hands down for us both! Huge thank you to the 5th floor nursing team!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!! The place is packed, unrelated people are NOT sitting six feet apart and there’s not enough chairs for everyone so they bring out folding chairs. If a person presents with COVID symptoms you are kept in the same waiting area. Better yet no one comes through on a regular basis to clean or wipe down chairs etc. I went to sit down and the patient before me left what appeared to be a used bandaid, Kleenex and some other wrapper behind (see picture below). Everyone from the time of admitting to discharge was AMAZING. .so caring and conscientious. I felt like my every need was taken care of by compassionate and knowledgeable people. Really can't say enough good things about Mercy Hospital❤

The nursing staff on 2nd floor were amazing. I had some severe pain from an infection in my heart. All of my nurses were very attentive and responsive to my needs. Thank you, Jackie, Kelsey, Joey, Mike and Greg, you guys rock!!!

My daughter was on 4E for 9 days beginning on September 1st . She is a non verbal and vulnerable adult. I once worked as a nurse at Mercy and I have to say that the nurses were absolutely wonderful. Many were from the float pool but some permanent staff. They were so good to Angie and I. I wish I could give them all a hug and thank them again. Dr. Hassan was also fabulous. He really listens, spends time with you and explains things well. 5 stars for this experience.

DON'T go here if you suspect you have covid. The way they triage is trash and they do not seperate sick patients from well patients.
Horrible staff, no importance from any of the staff. They made me wait over 13 hrs with a broken neck to just see a neurosurgeon and now I still wait for answers. The 1 nurse actually raised her voice and yelled at me. Had my call button on for 10 minutes puked blood needed they help. And only 1 person has actually been kind. When I told them I wanted to transfer they basically used scare tactics so I didn’t transfer. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER COME HERE.

While I would recommend Mercy to anyone who needs medical care, I would strongly caution any family members of the patient to have, pardon the pun, patience. The nursing staff seems to get frustrated and short tempered with family members quickly. My Mother has been in there twice this month and each time the nursing staff taking care of her has been rather rude. I imagine they are exhausted from all the stuff going on, so patience is highly recommended.
