RecommendedI went to Mercy ER with pain in my left leg. The staff saved my life by identifying a bacterial infection that had spread to my blood. The staff and doctors were efficient and very understanding. They explained everything to me in terms I could understand. They were excellent. I have no hesitation about ever going back to Mercy Hospital.
I HIGHLY recommend Mercy for their amazing care I have experienced. The baby center took fantastic care of our first grand baby. The emergency room recently took great care of me (yes, they "are busy") but handle the crowd very well for what they face daily. The heart center and hospital stay afterwards was better than anyone could hope for. I was VERY well cared for and felt at ease under Dr. Garlie and his assistants knowledge and true professionalism. I want to say that my surgeon Dr. Tan is amazing. I was held in the PACU for 2 extra hours, apparently there were no available rooms for me. When I could finally head up to my room, Josh took me up there and oh my god, it was as if I was a total burden to him. Slamming my bed around. I get up to my room and there are people in there getting it ready for me. Cindy was my nurse and Sonya was the CNA. Barely saw them. I’d hit the call button and wait and wait. The ICU unit and staff rock, along with the fabulous cardiology team.
I had the opportunity to be under the care of the pre-post operation staff at Mercy Hospital yesterday. I only wish I could remember the names of all those who took care of me. Julie, Laura & Amanda are the few I remember. I want to thank you all for making a scary trip to the OR the most comfortable experience I could have.
I would not recommend this ER. I had severe back and abdominal pain. I could barely walk. My nurse made me walk from one room to another and rolled her eyes when it took me a while (and in tears) to get to the next room. I was not properly treated for what I had. I went to a different ER and had a surgery done right away to fix the problem. Avoid Mercy if you can. I feel like they could care less about their patients.
My daughter had surgery at Mercy, staff are amazing, they did awesome job,thank you for taking care of my daughter before and after surgery. Well recommended Hospital.
worst hospital ever. took my 2 year old son here because he fell and hit his head, and we are waiting 3+ hours for my boy to be seen. never come here if you don't want to wait. I'm definitely contacting the news stations 4, 5, 9, 11. and the star Tribune. this is not ok at all. grrrr
They are right now taking very good care of my Mom.
