Gus was our technician for our semiannual HVAC maintenance visit. He was technically proficient, prompt, courteous, etc. Displaying all the characteristics so important to James River Air and President Hugh Joyce. We are delighted with JRA and highly recommend the company for anyone seeking excellent service on heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and appliance work.

Very pleased with quick response by management after my poor review of them. I know they are busy this time of year but didn't appreciate being lied to. The manager took ownership and is fixing the problem. This was my otiginal post: don't waste your time calling. Tech didn't fix job first day and second day they lied to me twice about calling to schedule time. Unbelievable......

My appointment was scheduled for between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.. Approximately 9:45, Sarah L. called and said she was on her way. At just about 10:00 on the dot, she arrived and went straight to work! She wore booties in my house, as all good technicians should, and was very respectful. When Sarah was done, she turned my thermostats where I had them set (also something that a good HVAC tech should do)!! I'm thoroughly impressed!!
Gus Damalas checked my A/C today per my Maintenance Agreement and I was very pleased with his knowledge and his willingness to answer all my "dumb" questions. I had some serious problems with my A/C and I appreciate his explaining the problems in layman's terms. Because of Gus, I feel confident that my system needs to be replaced and look forward to having him take care of the the maintenance service.
I was very pleased with every aspect of my first experience with James River Air. The technician ( J.T. Pinnell) did excellent work, gave great advice to my questions, and I enjoyed his overall friendly nature.
The response time was great and Kyle did great work, neat and clean.
I've been dealing with James River for over ten years. I have never been disappointed with the quality or timeliness of their work.
Excellent company. Responds immediately to your request. Customer service is the best. Arlo was my tech and he is very professional and knows what he is doing. I also have dealt with several other techs over the years and they are very knowledgeable and again great customer service. I would recommend JR for all your AC and Heating needs.
