I purchased my solar panel in June of 2020 on the arrangement of trading my power **** for solar panels but had to sign a gulf power company agreement to pay their portion of the **** which the salesman told me several times it would only be 10 to 20 dollars a month and after 5 years ***** monthly payment so agreed. Sunpro is a great company to use for solar. They communicate me with me as my project progressed. Overall the experience was pleasant, better than most home improvement contractors. They guarantee my solar production and I see it already affecting my **** in a positive way.
I am filing a complaint for the following: 1. SunPro indicated that construction would begin in 90 days. It took them nearly five months to begin with the excuse that they were extremely busy. 2. Once the solar panels were installed, it took another 6-8 weeks for the electricians to do their work. 3. The project manager called and said that SunPro sent a request to the county inspector's office to perform and inspection for the electrical work. 4. Sunpro Solar (according to what shows up on caller ID when they call), has been calling me REPEATEDLY from various phone numbers after I have told them numerous times to remove my phone number, and continue to block their calls. They even went so far to tell me they new my address, and when my husband answered one of their calls on my phone, he was cussed at and harassed! This is terrible!! I believe there's some sort of scamming going on and this harrasment needs to stop!

These people called me 2 times today I returned the call to see what they wanted and told me I may qualify to have free panels put on my home. I told them I already have panels and don't need the service the he asked me if I had batteries, which I said no. Then he said he would make an appointment which was fine. We hung up and they called back about 3 minutes later asking me for the inverter information and was getting upset because I gave him the info but not what he was looking for. I have had my ** solar panels for over a year now and can't be happier! Sunpro was great to work with from my project coordinator to the installers. We also used Buildpro for our roof and had a great experience. Highly recommended
They sold themselves well. First day of install was fantastic. Second day was great. (It was supposed to be a two day install.) At the end of the second day they told me they had to coordinate with MLGW for an inspection. MLGW came to my home for days and days asking me about it. I told them I had no idea that they will have to contact sunpro. Sunpro had no employees on site to meet with the inspector. DO NOT BE FOOLED!! Worst customer service my husband and I have ever experienced! Were promised an easy 1-2 day install and we are still waiting to be converted 4mos later. We have been patient, kind and VERY understanding-even when MLGW, Sunpro and Inspectors came to our home unannounced. Our account managers wont return our texts or calls, they have no knowledge of anything that is happening with our delayed install and put very little effort into resolving our issue even when they are sent documents from the inspectors as... read more
After 9 months of having our sunpro solar system installed we are very happy with the system and the power it is producing. We also installed a battery which we were very pleased with and when our power went out recently it worked wonderfully well. We were the only people with light on in our neighborhood! Our sales person **** was great and we loved the install crews that came out. I would definitely recommend this company.
