Unsolicited call trying to sell solar product. Fast talking, high pressure, dont want to take no for an answer marketer. Most unnerving to me is it was a recorded call and I acknowledged her asking of my name with a yes - a real no no that I know better than to do. Hate to be paranoid, but worry that that word will get worked into a scrip that is a pretense of my having accepted an offer to get solar. Not the case. Don't buy what they're selling you. The salesperson will say anything and give you nothing what he promises. I was promised $1,000 credit on my utility **** if I signed up to get solar installed by Sunpro but never ended up receiving the $1,000 credit. It's been over 8 months and dozens of emails from their project manager, account manager, and many customer service representatives and I've now been completely ghosted by them and no longer receiving replies trying to get them what they owe me. Installation was efficient and I’m seeing anticipated savings on my electric bill. However, I have 3 issues that have not been addressed. 1). Per my contract, I’m due an $1000 credit on my electric bill. After 15 weeks post project, it has not been processed. 2). The Tesla app needed to monitor consumption and battery status has glaring inaccuracies. A case was put in the queue, but has not been assigned yet. When I was called and spoke to a representative I was assured that due to the fact my electric company was part of the program the was no cost to me. I asked the person if Installation, of equipment, including back up batteries, would you check the roof, would they take care of all repair and maintenance, if my roof was damaged or needed to be replaced would they take down the panels an replace them after the work was completed with no cost to me. I have been receiving calls from one of the Florida locations. I have been on the DNC registry for almost a year. I have not requested information as I don't live in Florida and haven't for over 10 years. I received 11 calls this morning back to back with in the span of about a minute. I have received 22 calls yesterday afternoon over the span of 2 minutes and 24 calls in the morning. I have received a total of 164 calls in the last 30 days. this is abusive and harassing. After receiving payment of +32K Sunpro came out to install my panels, after installation it failed inspection. They never reached out to me about a resolution, case manager would never return calls, I had to call several times reaching out to customer service just to get someone I felt like I was doing business with ******************* (SMC). Do not choose Sun Pro. Contact signed in January, panels installed February, and they still aren't operational. 6 months later we still don't have the panels turned on. We are paying double each month (the bill to the solar company and the bill to our electric company). We've had nothing but issues from the beginning. We met with the salesman and he assured us that panels could be placed on certain parts of our roof.
