Somewhere I came across a favorable review of ADT Solar. We contacted them seeking a bid on a system for our home in Cameron Park, CA. We made an confirmed appointment for them at 0800 this very Saturday morning. It’s 0845 and they’re a NO SHOW with no phone call. No call means they’ve already lost our consideration. During this 45 minutes waiting, I checked ADT reviews. My gosh, I’ve never seen so many complaints and bad reviews on BBB site. Thanks ADT for Not showing up. This company preys on the disadvantaged and elderly. My Dad, who was terminally ill, was talked into signing a 38k agreement to add panels to his house. The company installed the panels and had electricity reran while my Dad was in ICU and unfortunately never came home. No payments have been sent since my Dad passed before they were working for him to even enjoy the savings they promised. When asked if they would remove the panels, we were informed they will not do that. We will have to add the payoff to the price of the hou... read more

NOT RECOMMENDED. Used to be very good when it was Sunpro Solar but since it was acquired by ADT it is a complete disaster. **************** is non existent. I signed a contract to add a battery in September 2022 and there have been multiple delays and missed scheduled dates. It is now April and still getting excuses and scheduled appointments missed. I have asked multiple times to speak to a manager and this request always is denied. My solar panels have not been operational since January. The staff managing the project do w... read more

Shame on the BBB giving them an A+ rating. This rating does not reflect the revenues. ADT Solar is a scam. SunPro? Same scam. A lot of false promises. Number dont add up. App doesnt work. Lie after lie after lie!!

ADT solar personnel is different every time I speak to them. I had solar panels installed on Jan 3 and to this day I am still waiting on gettng my system turned on. The sales person is no where to be found and I have spoke to at least 4 customer advocates. ADT keeps changing customer advocates so I have to be in contact with someone new. Sales Team talked a great game.... Ended there!! Stay away at all costs from ADT. They do not support the installation team and when you finally get a traveling crew come from out of state months later to through just the soalr panels on your roof so they can get paid. you will not hear from them again for months. they get paid , you have to start paying and they dont care at all..BIG PONZI SCHEME THEY ARE!!
