I see a lot of reviews for poor service. Well for anyone who wants to know, the owner aka the Füher, Grant, fired waitresses who were there for 26 years, 16 years, and 10 years. All of these waitresses were the main ones who made you feel like family when you went in. Now you can barely feel like a customer with the way you are treated. Grant really made a bad decision by firing the best waitresses. I hope by the time your little pets you call waitresses now actually figure out how to be good ones your business will be crap.... read more
been dealing with one sever, for many yrs, have a lot of famiy and friends that went there, me and many others , are very disappointed in the upper management, that they fired mary our only and best sever. made us feel like family. and not just a meal ticket.. will be taking our family partys , and lunch friends to were she is now. the only authentic thing u had in there was mary. , been with her for ten yrs, ,
Won't be back since Mary got fired
Really disappointed about all of the changes in food and prices. Service was the worst ever. Been going for over 10 years :-(

My original review was 5 star a few years back...Very sad that I won't be coming back... I grew up eating Acapulco Joe's at the original one off 37 on the northeast side. My husband and I have gone to the downtown location often, and have notice the quality of the food has really gone down hill in the past few years... but the kicker was on out last visit on Monday, when our horrible server gave with a electronic pad to fill out bill and 20% was the first option and all the way up to 28% for tip... really ??! One of the worst meals that I have ever ate there. I've gone with my family so many times. They changed everything there. Normally, I get hardshell tacos and a side of red enchilada sauce. The sauce tasted different and so did the beef. I also shared some rice with my mom and the rice had absolutely no flavor! Come on Joe's, I know you can do it right!
