Spicy Southwest flavors is our passion for great Mexican food. Despite having a deep love for the cuisine, simply cooking and eating it wasn't enough for us, all we wanted to do was share our food. Love this place even if I didn't work here !!! :) All of the few new items on the menu are amazing and Fridays Fish tacos are AWESOME!!
Took more than an hour for our food. Salsa and sauce was gross. Not at all like I remembered. There was only like 4 other tables with a few people at them. Only 2 waitresses. Not very good.
To bad you fired all your great servers... your business is about to lose a ton of people.... im not done getting the word out.. your gay and married so leave the other men alone... i say within a month you will notice a big difference in not having customers.. oh and the food sucks to.. nothing like stale chips. And i love seeing people pick their nose and then handle my food (that i did not eat and knocked on the floor)
What happened to this place??? This joint used to be very busy, with great food, and a long time serving staff! Now the place has food that is lousy and cold,and all the old friendly servers are gone! The line for this place used to go down Illinois street clear past the parking garage, now it is dead! This place used to be Awesome---What Happened???
Service is horrible Food was cold worst visit ever. Need to get some new servers!!!!
Just not trying hard enough. Tastes like bad 80's Mexican. I think their "secret sauce" is Manwich.
The new owner (about a year old), has cleaned the place up nicely yet still has some of Joe's touch still there. He also offers Joe's signature sauce as well as another choice which is quite good. He uses the best tequila in his top shelf margaritas plus you get your second one at half price!! The food is great! Just what we expected! He also made a point of walking around to his customers to see if everything was to their satisfaction! Beyond disappointed with the service this evening. It took almost 10 minutes to be greeted at our table. My meal never came. Another server finally checked on us, I told him I wanted my food & to put in a to go container since my husband & son were already done eating. I got home, finally sat down to eat and my order wasn't right!!!
