We've bought appliances here since 2011 for 2 homes now including 2 complete kitchen packages, washers/dryers, furnace, water heater, gas grill and even a mattress set. Most sales associates we've worked with have been very knowledgeable and helpful, though there has been the occasional pushy or curt salesperson. After numerous transactions and service calls, we can say that Abt has generally met or exceeded our expectations. We made other purchases from Abt in the past and those were flawless. This time we are 2 weeks into a dryer delivery/installation and after 4 visits still no functional dryer in the house. First the unit was not properly installed, the installer didn't change the hose but we were charged for it. Then since the unit intermittently running like a jet engine the replacement unit delivery was scheduled but mysteriously cancelled by Abt without our knowledge and Abt forgot to notify us about it. Unfortunately, I will have to stop using Abt after 15 years of exclusive purchases for at least 3 homes. 3+ weeks with 4 visits to repair a refrigerator purchased from Abt just over 4 years ago. I was more than accommodating over multiple visits, but then they did not do what we agreed. Now they say I have to wait up to another 4 Days (Fri morning to sometime Monday) for the 5th visit (or wait around another full Saturday) to install the part we agreed they would install one week ago.
