Whenever I have to purchase a new appliance friends say "oh, go here they have the best prices" but I will never go anywhere but ABT. Their prices are very competitive but the service from in-store personnel and delivery and follow-up personnel is worth a million dollars! They have taken customer service to a new level and it is always a pleasure to work with them. For all the 1 star reviews , please tell me which store is a 5 star then ? Best Buy ? -5 star for me , HH Gregg ? Same . No store is perfect but ABT is the best I know in the Chicago area .

We have been avid ABT customers for some time and are in the middle of the WORST example of customer service that I've experienced since the last time I dealt with Comcast! Seriously! 1st call to them - 7/1/16: 9 month old, $3000 LG Refrigerator is acting up, running loudly, not cooling correctly, etc... Repairman out - 7/12/16 Told we needed a new fan and mother board or something...had to be ordered and that they would be in touch Repairman here again - 7/25/16 Says LG sent the wrong part and that they will have to reorder... read more

We bought some new appliances from Abt which look great in our home. We had to wait over a week for our refrigerator to be delivered and it hasn't been working for days. My husband and I have called customer service several times, and they can't get a tech to us for days. 2 months ago to the date we got married and froze the top tier of our wedding cake. If Abt doesn't fix it or give us a replacement today, guess we'll either have to throw our cake away or eat it today :(

Worse customer experience. After spending more than $20k in appliances, called to tell customer service that I had not received a cutting board I payed for. Customer service kept insisting that they had shipped it. So basically, they are willing to lose a customer over a $30 board that they insist they shipped and that I insisted that I had not received. I was planning on going back this week to make some other purchases, but rather take my business to a company that does value customers.

My retired parents had a refrigerator delivered this week. No complaints with the appliance. When they Installed the fridge they installed a new water line. They turned the water off, when they turned the water back on we lost hot water on the second floor. They sent "plumbers" this morning after a 1/2 hour we were told nothing they can do. By the way the plumbers were actually glorified delivery men which cost my parents 149.00. Thanks ABT ill be sure to pass this on to friends and family.

Our central air conditioner stopped working on Monday, 6/20/2016. I called Abt that evening to have someone come out and do an estimate for a new unit. The soonest they could come was July 1st. I called the next morning (Tuesday) and explained that I was concerned about my 84 year old mother and the high temperatures. Dave Grubbs came to our home Tuesday afternoon and assured us that he would do his best to get a new central air unit installed the next day. yes, very poor company, they charge your credit card for product they do not have and then we have to file chargeback. you should only charge our card when you are ready to ship
