Cheese grits, black beans and fried fish are staples in any soul food restaurant, and this kitchen prepares them in the most traditional way. The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

Me and my husband ate here yesterday staff was very friendly and nice. I really enjoyed my food and so did my husband. I have celiacs so I've had my fair share of gf foods and I must say the waffles are amazing and I love her sauce !!
I ate here for the first time yesterday. Hands down the THE BEST chicken and waffles I've ever had!! The homemade syrup is ridiculously good!! I will definitely be back to explore the menu.
Eat here about once a week. Extremely friendly staff and the food is seasoned to perfection. If you eat here once, you will be back for more! You will not be disappointed!!
Soooo fresh and yummy!! And the tropical punch is delicious! :)
