Cheese grits, black beans and fried fish are staples in any soul food restaurant, and this kitchen prepares them in the most traditional way. The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

The food was OK the hot wings were excellent the French fries was not hot taste old the slaw was good the waffle was not as fluffy it was thin the chicken always good

Really the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had! Please put one in Tampa.....2nd thought , maybe not. I’d be there every other day. Great ambience and staff was really friendly as well.
The best gluten free fried chicken, waffles, shrimp, and fries ever. Will come out of our way to go here again.
Excellent food and service. Been here 3 times so far and every time food was fresh and hot from the kitchen. Only downside(customer-wise) is that it is always crowded.
The food is delicious and staff super friendly!!!!
