I not so recently ordered a glider from Pottery Barn. I ordered a Duvet from Pottery Barn and found out that it is coming from ***** and wont be to me before May 3rd, 2022 so I called them to cancel and they refuse. They said that they have to wait ten days to see if it has left the facility which is BS because if you look up my tracking order it clearly states that it has not left the facility and why would it have with a May 3rd ship date? I'm not sure where to begin with my experience with West Elm. I ordered multiple pieces of furniture on 9/6/21 and as of today (2/19/22) I'm still trying to get the problems resolved. Numerous calls to customer service - 20+ calls/emails per the transaction history log I had to create to track all of the issues, no exaggeration - have resulted in conflicting status, failure to follow up on commitments and so much misinformation it would be laughable if it weren't related to thousands of dollars of product. We purchased $9,000 of furniture from West Elm in *** (UWS) in October 2021. Despite multiple delays, we hung in there and did not cancel the order. On 2/4/22 we finally received some of the items. 2 dressers , 1 chair and what were supposed to be 2 beds. Only one arrived and just the headboard of the other - no frame. I purchased as a guest just prior to Christmas, trying to avoid being subscribed to mailing lists. Unable to complete my order without an email address, I used one I could track as to sender/usage.Williams-Sonoma is now sending no less than 3-4 emails EVERY DAY as tracked by my service provider spam catcher, despite multiple requests to be unsubscribed having been acknowledged, with empty promise.This is against their own policy, and when multiplied by the magnitude of affected users is a ridiculous waste of internet, energy... read more
I ordered a few large pieces of furniture and have been given a runaround in regards to delivery etc....not only would they not tell me about my product delivery timeframe the supervisor was extremely rude and wouldn't cancel the order with our me paying a restocking fee for something that's sitting on a ship in a container. I asked to speak with another supervisor and he told me to call back. I have ordered from pottery barn for years and never had such rude behavior from customer service before. The information about the credit card is misleading. I spoke with 4 different customer service associates and all of them gave me misleading answers. I believe they use every opportunity available to lead you into thinking you will receive a deal, but then after wasted time; there is no deal. I wish I could give zero stars, because information about credit cards should not be misleading in any way.
I ordered luxury organic towels from pottery Barn in December. They finally arrived around February 1st and I was excited to open and try them out! The best thing about these towels was how they were pre-picked apart. I mean thats what people want in towels, right? Loose strings and unraveling. Kind of like the end of Game of Thrones. A long a** wait for a huge disappointment. Oh, and now they wont refund them. Thank you Pottery Barn for sucking so hard.
Terrible. They will not exchange a item they sent that is not the item identified in store w specific measurements. They are asking me to purchase another item that is correct and they will not refit the wrong item until they receive it. I received the items they were not correct. The helpful delivery crew assured me they will exchange w out problems. Not true
