I ordered a wedding dish in September 2021 for a friends daughter that arrived broken. I called, got it straightened out for another dish to be delivered. By May 2022, the gift still had not been delivered. I saw the dish in the Va Beach town center store, on May 5, 2022, and decided to buy it, so that my friends daughter could have it before she moved to ******. I had just moved back to my home town and decided to order a couch last August with hopes to invite my family over for the holidays (still 5 months away). The order was delayed until after the holiday which was a disappointment, but not the end of the world and understandable as there are logistics issues with shipping at the time. I placed an order for several upholstered pieces. Only days after the order was paid was I given an "expected" delivery date, over 6 months. As this was too long to wait I tried to cancel order. I was informed that "custom" orders cannot be cancelled, even though production on order would not even start for months. Very deceptive, I was not informed that the order could not be cancelled or that it would take so long until after order was placed. Here is my review of the item I purchased twice -DO NOT BUY THE POTTERY BARNMELANGE QUILT #******* COTTON HANDCRAFTED QUILT OR OTHER PRODUCTS FROM THIS LINE. There is zero quality control and more than once this item was received severely defective and should never have been approved for shipment to a paying customer. I've been a Williams Sonoma family of brands customer for two decades, but their decline in quality and customer service has been steep. Buyer Beware!! I ordered 2 items early December, 2021. Both were a problem!One item was due to be delivered in early February. Then in May, now end July - 6 months after their agreed delivery date and 8 months after purchase. I have spent over 2 hours on hold each time I try to talk to customer service. Their reply is that it is their supplier who has issues - not their fault nor their need to manage. However, my contract is with West Elm (Williams Sonoma) not with their supplier. I ordered two bistro chairs online in March 2022. They arrived April 16, but one was damaged and had to be reordered. The replacement arrived today, May 20, but it was also unacceptable, with a split through the wood frame at the back of the seat. Really bad quality control, and a lot of frustration that after two months I still don't have the chairs I paid for.Side note: Williams-Sonoma's customer service area on the website has instructions for leaving reviews, but the process has been disabled. Wonder why?!

i placed an order for an anton ****** took 4 delivery and end up i was told its lost! First delivery: got a call one day before the delivery day stating the table is not delivering 3 months from the day. OK fine, i went to ikea and got a table to use, then a month later, i got a call stating the table is ready for delivery, on the day of delivery, i got a call from the driver saying he only has the top, so we went ahead and reschedule for a third try, and this time they come with just the bottom..... and i called for the 4th... read more
