All retailers are experiencing delays, but PB is by far handling them more poorly than any other retailer I have worked with. I ordered two nightstands in Feb, estimated delivery in Mar. The estimate was pushed a couple of times, not surprising. My items were then changed to "shipped" status in Apr and my credit card was charged. Same issue as all other users. Bought a light fixture on the West Elm website that said in stock, received an email indicating that the light would ship over the next few days. Happened to click on the Order Status only to see it is backordered with no potential ship date. This is the third or fourth time this has happened with West Elm--they blame their inventory system, but that is no excuse for not pushing an email when the system identifies an item as backordered. I ordered a on sale Avengers bag pack, which it has been on going since late June and July 2022. They are not honoring the promo code HAPPY, it did not go through for whatever reason. We ordered a dining table in Sept 2021. Back order date keeps changing. We were told it would ship in November 2021. This was a gift to us and we had ordered chairs which we returned because there was no room to store them. How can a company like Pottery Barn sell products that they dont have??? Its still displayed in the store. We have called several times and they have no idea when it will arrive. Current date is January 2023. Why??????
Worst furniture delivery service! so far all 3 pieces of furniture I have ordered and paid for have ALL BEEN LOST!!! Now I have to wait another 6 weeks to get it!!! IF THAT EVER COMES! Id give them zero if possible. I placed an order with ************* on June 17th that kept getting pushed back. $80.72 was the total. It was in stock when I ordered and then immediately back ordered. Got several back order emails pushing the date back.When I called to cancel because its not schedule to be mailed until JULY 27th I was told theyd **** it as returned so it didnt get mailed to me. I am a senior and for my birthday I ordered a sofa from West Elm. Delivery was from 6/30 to 7/14. They have taken my money and will not confirm when my sofa will arrive. I find all of a sudden it is an "estimated delivery date" though rep told me it would be delivered 7/14, and that item is in stock. Waiting to hear from someone.... I do not expect my sofa will arrive and was told I cannot cancel for refund. I need my sofa or my money desperately.
Purchased a dining room table Aug 7th 2021 and have still yet to receive it. I have called 7 times asking for updates and requested each time for them to call me within the week with a status update and they never have. After I complained the last time West Elm magically said the table was ready in May 2022. I have had truly the worst customer experience ever with WS. I purchased a bed frame from WS in April that had an estimated 2-3 weeks to delivery. At 5+ weeks I was still waiting and the bed went on sale by $400. I called to try to get the price reduced and they only offered cancelation. I spent 90 minutes on the phone processing the cancelation and reordered the bed. It again showed 2-3 weeks to delivery on the website.
