Absolutely the worst customer service. The Call Center does not get a callback number and you are not allowed to get a direct line number so you can call them when (not if, when) your call is "dropped." I was bounced back and forth from one department to another and no one could help me. Told to go to a branch location for help. Went to the branch previously and was told to call the customer service number. They have placed a negative report on my credit report for an account that was not mine and have ignored my written dis... read more

I have had the most stressful week of my life. I went to Wells Fargo to deposit my paycheck on Friday, June 2nd for 2601.00$. I found out the next day from my employer that the teller made a mistake and deposited 260.00$! My employer's bank immediately contacted wells fargo, and my employer told me everything should be fixed by Monday. However nothing was fixed. I contacted Wells Fargo through email on Monday night and got a automatic polite response and was informed that it could take up to 10 days to fix the problem and th... read more

I was told by wells fargo employee that I could buy foreign currency at market rate plus the cost of shipping the currency. well wells fargo has there own "current rate", which has nothing to do with the market rate. bottom line, don't use them for this I ended up paying 10% fee, which is crazy. I will probably cancel my account with them, as I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. my mistake for not confirming the rate, their mistake for treating customers like this.

We don't owe Wells Fargo any money, and yet they have pulled out payment after payment of $130 without our permission over the last month. We are living paycheck to paycheck right now, and so every dollar counts. We were at the store today wanting to get a few groceries, and we checked our finances, and turns out wells fargo took out another payment, so we were overdrafted and couldn't buy any groceries. We will have to wait another 2 weeks before we can buy food. Thanks wells fargo. I've called them about this issue 6 or 7 ... read more

I wish I could give no stars. I have had a lot of transactions lately because I commute to work. They blocked my card, so when I called to see what was going on they said I needed to verify some transactions. The man on the phone did not sound clear when he was speaking and refused to listen to me explain various situations. He then said, (after I already verified that I still had the card) that he was going to shut down my card. I said, "No you do not need to do that. You need to hear what I am explaining to you because you... read more

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for over 10 years now. Along the way, I have banked with 5 other Banks also, in different capacities, giving me a good vantage point of comparing their services with others. It appears that Wells Fargo caters for the rich only. For middle class folks like me, I think this is one of the worst banks. I say this because Wells Fargo does certain things, which other Banks do not. 1. It charges very high fees for bounced checks, or when you go above the limit. 2. It gives zero consideration to... read more

Wells Fargo bank is the worst bank to do business with. I am going to be very specific, do not deal with Wells Fargo in ****** **. They practically stole over 3 thousand dollars from my account, when I finally notice it, a lady bank manager was very nasty over the phone then hang up.They stole my money and I am not the first one. I work hard to make a living, It's a shame you can not trust these institutions. I am praying for them. God will vindicate me..

Wells Fargo Dealer Services gave us the wrong loan payoff information. When we discovered the error, we notified them, asked them to correct it, they stated would be two weeks. Three months later the reversal is finally completed. They illegally reported us to the credit bureaus and we instructed them to send correction letters. They complied and after all the paperwork was signed and the check deposited, we received a letter in the snail mail that stated they had send all of our personal, private information, along with all... read more

This is without a doubt the absolute worst bank that i have ever dealt with. The customer service is geared neither to the customer or to service. EVERY person I have dealt with has either been extremely rude from the start or so disinterested in working with me that i took them as rude. EVERY time i have dealt with them I have left the experience understanding why everyone i know hates Wells Fargo and refuses to do further business with them. They have definitely lost ALL future business of mine. For peace of mind and to av... read more
