I would never recommend this bank to anyone. They put a hold on my PAYCHECK from a school district for 3 days and over drafted my account because of it. I have a young child and them withholding my money from me was unacceptable. I had to borrow money to feed her and put gas in my car because the bank refused to release MY money to me. I am in the process of switching banks. Do not ever bank here if you would like to have access to the money that you work hard to earn. Shameful.

Money was stolen from my account what they claim was via debit card in PA I live in NC. Its to me not a coincidence that the same day about an hour before I had ordered something online from ToysRUs and the billing was in the same city in PA. They talked to me as though I was a criminal asking me who I gave my debit card and pin to. I have my debit card and don't share my PIN number they then told me this is the only way they could have taken the money. My husband and I purchased a new furnace. Unfortunately, the financing was through Wells Fargo. First off, they failed to put me on the loan, despite my information being on the application. Since I take care of the bills, this has created some really obnoxious problems. I spoke to WF and was told they can't tell me anything because I wasn't on the account. Fine. My account was hacked 2 times while banking with wells fargo. I am shuting all accounts down with them. After my account was put on a freeze. They still allowed more fraduelent activity to occur to my accounts. Which took all of my accounts and my kids accounts to a zero balance. They stated that the investigation is over. And it has now taken 72 hours. And I have not yet recieved a full refund of the stolen money that was taken out of my accounts.

Several weeks chasing a promised copy of 3 checks totaling ~17k. Assured repeatedly by customer service the copy sufficed for us to deposit. Receive the check copies via mail and visit out local WF branch to be told the copies are useless. Incompetent team members and a preposterous waste of our time. We will be taking our hefty transactions elsewhere.

I have been dealing with Wells Fargo Dealer Services since 5/2014 when my loan originated. May 2017 there was hail damage to my car and the car was totaled, I have been calling and speaking to them regularly. I have Gap insurance through them as well, my insurance company sent a check to them in the amount of $6497. this was not all applied to the principal, the statement I received states they only used $6373.66, I am still waiting on gap insurance to finalize to pay them off. This is the worst banking experience I have ever had, the physical bank and the crappy over the phone poor service is even worse this bank is garbage utter garbage. The lowest of the low banks. Information was not fully given when I signed up, when I first tried logging in on the online page it MADE me change my password at least 4 TIMES, and when I tried submitting my card design that I personally drew it was declined which I fought for and finally got after several weeks!!! I live next door to a Wells Fargo bank owned property and a lawn care contractor they had coming out to do the upkeep on the yard destroyed my fence with his mower and they are trying to put up a fight saying they don't know if they will cover the repairs they have already told me that the lawn care contractor has a release of liable with them so it should fall back on Wells Fargo to have my fence replaced and it has been about a month or so now going back and forth with them to get this resolved and still nothing so if you ... read more

I wanted to share my experience with Customer Service of Wells Fargo Mortgage via their 800 number and finally, their Corporate location. I had an issue with my taxes being taken out of my mortgage. My original mortgage was sold to Wells Fargo when I bought my new house. I made the first half of the tax payment to my county in my State. I had to call in and explain the situation.
