Stay away from this bank. I have spent over 10 days,spoken to 17 "bankers", been on the phone for over 4 hours, filed a complaint and am still waiting for my money to be refunded. Go to a credit union.....I am.
Wells Fargo Home provides horrible customer service, particularly to individuals who do not full own a home due to an estate matter. I will never recommend anyone obtaining a home mortgage with Wells Fargo. In addition, the company customer service representative lack the knowledge to do his or her job well. Again, stay far, far away from Wells Fargo
First and foremost i would like to state that wells Fargo is by far the worst company that i have ever dealt with in my 3 years of business. I original opened a merchant account with thems through the Turlock Branch and the lady who was suppose to be in charge of setting up the account was no where to be found and i had my account setup by one of the bankers at the branch. Once the point of sale terminals arrived at my store she was suppose to come in and help me set them up and give me a overview on them. IT never happened.... read more
I opened a line of credit account with Wells Fargo and was told by the Branch that because of my PMA status (High Account Balances) the annual fee would be waived. When I noticed a fee come through on my account for the line of credit, I called Wells Fargo Customer Service and spoke to ********* ***** who indicated the fee would not be waived. He forwarded me to his manager and she also declined to waive the fee.
TERRIBLE customer service. Their tellers and customer service personnel are truly useless. In addition, I believe there are unprofessional and nefarious practices happening. For example on their "bill pay" they remove the funds from your account regardless of whether or not the recipient cashes the check. So you the account holder think your bills are paid because the money is removed from you account and basically put into a Wells Fargo account until the recipient cashes the check. ! if they never cash check.
The way Wells Fargo calculates it's Overdraft Fees must not be legal, and if it is, our courts are failing. This is the only bank that has a location where my mother lives and where I live, but it has stolen money from me more times than I'm comfortable to admit. Wells Fargo employees are generally full of smiles but show no compassion or understanding. They will speak to you but they do not listen well, and they seem incapable of caring. They smile and apologize a lot with words but fail to actually show it in their actions... read more

Refinaced a loan with another financial, payoff checks overnighted to an address found online for up overnight delivery via UPS. Checks mailed on 3/27/17 then received and signed for by mail room employee 3/28/17. A payment was pulled from my WF checking account days later, funds were not in account due to moving financials and under the impression that since payoffs were sent over night the payoff would be processed before our next payment would pull. Approximately 14 years ago I entered into a 30 year fixed mortgage agreement with a local financial institution. Within a year the mortgage was picked up by Wells Fargo. Since being a Well Fargo customer, I have had the opportunity to refinance to a lower interest rate twice, and partially because of this, I have been able to pay my mortgage off 16 years early.
