This complaint isn't really about Wells Fargo, it is about the company they use for collections and claim to be part of Wells Fargo. My daughter has student loans thru Wells Fargo. Yes, she is a procrastinator and did not get her loan consolidated in a timely manner. She has been working with Wells Fargo and they have been great. First, they put her loans into forbearance. But the collection company started calling my husband and I for payment. We repeatedly told them, she is in forbearance and her first payment is due at th... read more
I bought a truck about two years ago through Wells Fargo at a high interest rate but I was told I could refinance through Wells Fargo when my credit score improved. I called today and they told me that since I lived in Arkansas that I couldn't refinance, which is absolutely ridiculous, and they were very rude. I have not made one late payment. They enjoy ripping people off. I'm switching to another company and will never use or recommend them again.
I have been banking with Wells Fargo for 10+ years and I have never experienced the WORST customer experience in my life! Not only that, the branch manager ***** at the location **** ********* ** ***** ** treated my fiance and I with no respect at all. We arrived at this location and they were pretty busy and we needed a notary; however, we were made aware that they are only able to notarize certain documents. So I asked is this a document they will be able to notarize? She says she isn't able to make that decision the notar... read more
Never ever take a mortgage with Wells Fargo. For three years they had me faxing over 50 pages a month trying to refi one of those bad swap mortgages .Everytime although my fax machine would say that all the pages went through they'd say they about two weeks later that theydidn't get one and to fax it again .By that time it was always too late that month so we'd have to get new paperwork from my accountant who was taking in fees for doing it.Finally when it was coming down to the wire I would call the man assigned by them to h... read more
I have been having so many issues with my Wells Fargo account. First it was issues with the billing of merchant services to incurring overdraft fees that were out of my hands. I've never had to call the bank so much in my lifetime and clearly they do not care about keeping their clients happy. This last issue is with an Overdraft charge that I incurred because it was posted after my bank balance was negative due to a withdrawal. I check my account before i make ANY purchases so I don't incur these fees. I made a purchase of ... read more
I originally went into my local Wells Fargo because of several fraud charges on my account. I'd never had fraud charges on any accounts so I was quite frantic and stressed. At first the banker I worked with seemed very helpful and kind. As we discussed the fraud charges and got everything figured out she started asking me questions about other services I may need or want from Wells Fargo. I was just starting up my business as a nail technician. She talked me into using Merchant Circle, their version of a square reader, to ac... read more
Unfortunately my mortgage ended up with Wells Fargo. I have to update my password every two months, regardless of writing down passwords, or saving them to my browser, they fail to log me in. I do not recommend their customer service since they found it acceptable to not answer my questions or tell me they were transferring and just put me on hold. I do not advise sending checks either.
The representatives of Origin of Truth Institute went to Wells Fargo Bank in Dalton, GA, on Wednesday on March 29, 2017, and submitted documents on a promissory note. All representatives of OTI sat in an office as we presented documents in order to process said documents. The intent of visit was clearly stated. Calls were made to confirm if the papers submitted were in process there was one document that needed to be changed and we retrieved the needed document. The Personal Banker said that, "It’s a go” indicating we were r... read more
I am currently a practicing attorney and certified financial advisor with American Institute of Bankers. Prior instructor of law and banking with the American Bankers Association and prior vice president with Wells Fargo predecessor(s) Wachovia and First Union (1988-2000). In my opinion, I would probably receive better financial, technical, and customer service from the worst bank in any non-English speaking third world country.
