The worst bank in America. I tried to get relief from an equity loan and credit card due to this carona virus pandemic. After seeing two articles from Reuters and msnbc showing that the CEO ******* ** ******, told them there is instant relief and loan deferments , fee waivers, for all customers with credit cards and mortgage loans. Wells Fargo should be shut down. Never in my life had I have to call about a payroll check to be cleared! This check was always deposited for months, however because my job changed the way they pay us I have to now deposit my checks. Getting your money takes literally two weeks!!! These people are crooks. Why should I have to go through that with my own money! I also see that they lost their accreditation in 2016 with the Better Business Bureau, now what does that tell you? I sold a property in Denver, Colorado on 3/13/20. I recieved a CASHIERS CHECK for $119,321.62 at closing. I deposited it into my account at the *** ******** ****. Branch that same day. Even though it was a Cashier's check, I was told that all but $4,800.00 of the total amount would be held until 11 days later. I was outraged! I've been a WF customer for decades. I'm trying to buy a house and this COVID outbreak is going on. Not only do they disable automatic banking so I can't do a wire transfer for my deposit, but they refuse to offer any other wire options besides coming in to their office. These days being a WF customer means you risk your life.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I've been a customer for over 20 years and during that time they lied to me about giving me a credit card that would provide no-fee foreign transactions and yet the bank has consistently charged me foreign exchange fees whenever I travel outside of the US. As well, I've been locked out of my online banking for 8+ months and and have spent more than 10 hours on the phone with customer service trying to resolve the problem but despite giving them my SS number and answering numerous persona... read more

I applied for a ***’s Discount Furniture credit card online on March 1st, 2020. I was approved and was told someone was going to contact me. Fast forward to today, March 10th, not a peep from anyone. I called ***’s Customer Service they were very helpful and looked up the things I wanted in their inventory and answered all of my questions but they had no record of me applying. Early in 2019 I learned I was the recipient of a Wells Fargo TOD account which was to be split into five equitable portions. As a result, on 10-1-2019 I opened what I was told at the time was a brokerage account with the assistance of ******* *****, an employee of the downtown Wells Fargo branch in El Paso, TX. I’ve been a client of Wells Fargo since 2007 and I’ve never been mistreated until today. Two incompetent employees at the SF Mission Bay Branch; one of which is a manager, refused to deposit checks into an account that I own! For no reason whatsoever!? I will be taking my business elsewhere. Manager by the name of ***** ****** was brand new and didn’t know what he was doing. Steals money from you if you don't monitor your account. And allowed companies to continue to take money when you've cancelled subscriptions or haven't authorized then to. You complain and they tell you there's nothing they can do
