One of the Credit Bureaus suggested I apply for a card with Wells Fargo based on my credit worthiness. i have other high end cards, but this bank turned me down. It amazing how this CEO with some much disgrace on how they run their business would have the nerve to turn down a household with 210,000 average and credit scores of 650-695 depending on the month. If there was a way to give a negative review I would. I used Wells Fargo for my merchant processing thinking it made the most sense with all of my banking accounts already established with them. Well I was wrong. Not only have most of the transactions been charged at a much higher percentage than what was originally discussed the processor needed for the transactions was billed at hidden fees. Overall I've never been more dissatisfied with a company and will be closing every account I have with them.
Wells Fargo does not accept cash deposits if you are not a customer and it's into your own account. Something completely unbelievable. Let me repeat - a bank does not accept cash deposits. Hence there is no way to make funds available in an account same day. I was considering to open an account with them because my family banks with them, but not after this. Once again - a BANK does NOT ACCEPT CASH deposits.
I paid off my car loan in full and then they continued to take out the next automatic monthly payment. They sent me a refund check that I never cashed and then they proceeded to send me nasty letters about how I needed to make additional payments. I sent them the refund check back, but it still took 6 months of aggressive letters and phone calls asking for money before they finally settled it. I applied to refinance our home. We have owned the home for about 11 years and have about 50% equity in our home value. Wells Fargo was quick to respond to our application. They requested a ridiculous amount of documents and were very pushy to make sure you had them in within a day. They called non stop about paying for the appraisal ahead of time, but were clear that we would get the appraisal fee back if the loan was denied (as long as we didn't have the appraisal done yet). Big bank with bad business practices. Long story short as it has been 10 years in the making; I paid off my wife's student loan today. The company made $17,000 in interest alone. They have a loan options office where the option is pay the loan or don't. The first wave of customer service is ok but they are very limited in what they can help with. The people who work for Wells Fargo are relentless in defending the errors of their ways! They will never admit to any fault, and God help you if you challenge them! They instigate their customers.
I have been attempting to refinance or sell/purchase a new home. I have been working with ***** and ***** ******. They made themselves seem so different than the robotic idiots I have spoken to before at Wells Fargo but they are not any different. They have made me jump through hoops to get them information to make some transaction go thru but they will take weeks to get back to me and actually even tell me that they have other clients they are working with. Opened a line of credit with Wells Fargo to buy some furniture. I made my first payment, it was due on the 18th so I scheduled my bank to send it on the 15th to their P.O. Box. I have confirmation Wells Fargo received it on the 16th. it then took them 3 more days to process the payment (the 19th) and I was charged a late fee and my bill reflected that the payment was postmarked the 19th.
