I banked with wells fargo since I was 14 years old. They've been habitually changing the "free" account rules over the years to get more fees out of me, forcing me to open accounts I don't need, offering some of the worst service out there, and double-charging me for international fees when I'm travelling. They recently stopped offering their app on my brand new phone (Huawei P20) so I can no longer do mobile banking. I took out a consolidation loan with them in 2015 and didn't fully understand the terms and agreements. I've dutifully paid my loan over the past 3 years only to realize that %80 of my monthly payment is going to interest. The other 20% has been going to the principle. If I could give Wells Fargo a zero review I would. Hey charged off my fiancé’s account without notifying him. He told them on multiple occasions to stop all automatic payments through that account and he told them two times to do so and both times they assured him that it was done. This is when he checked his bank account and his account was sent to collections without his knowledge and was told that here isn’t anything they can do even though they are the problem.
I had a Wells Fargo credit card with $13,000 of available credit on it. I had it for several years, never missed a payment and had paid down to a zero balance, Without even talking to me about it or giving me a warning, they canceled it and shut it down. I am in the middle of a home refinance, and that act lowered my credit score 10 points, due no longer having that "available" credit in the scenario that the credit bureaus use. I sadly have been with Wells Fargo for 7 years. Two years ago I opened an account with ** ****, because I just didn't like their "In Bank" customer service in my town, it was terrible For seven years I have been using the ON LINE BILL Pay and flawlessly pay my bills twice a month Out of 8 bills paid this month ONE bill was sent through their expedited service process, even though I did NOT pick the option. I have been with Wells Fargo for over 30 years we have had a sucking on her house for over 20 years with Wells-Fargo our home has been a contingency trust for over 10 years when we went to extend our second for another 10 years we needed to get an Affidavit of trust from our lawyers for the loan to go through so we did costing us hundreds and hundreds of dollars and up to seven months of our time once the paperwork was was received the loan would go through I turned out not to be the case they lied to me they lied to my wife... read more
Never even had an account with Wells Fargo. I believe they opened an account under my name without my knowledge, as I received texts from them telling me my account was being closed for insufficient funds. How when I never opened an account with you? They sent me a forty-two dollar check in the so-called settlement case that they refused to cash. I am thinking of taking further action with these scammers. What they've done is illegal, and they have not paid for their crimes.
Wells Fargo called a moment ago and I missed the call so I called back. When I called back, I provided details regarding a transaction that they were inquiring about. The details were "complex", so I offered to convey the information to a Supervisor. There really should be a negative rating for these people! They lie constantly to there customers and also have there executive branch call to try and back the lie up! I was locked out of my account because Wells Fargo’s system apparently made the decision to do so. There atm card free access is an absolute joke and there is no clear definitions as to the rules and regulations on using it.
