I fell behind on my credit card payments, so I set up 4 automatic payments to catch up. After my second payment I was able to pay off the balance of my card. I called to make sure the next two would not come out, and was assured by their collections and online banking department this would not happen. Very disappointed with the level of service provided by their Credit Card Service Departments. I've been a loyal customer with Wells Fargo for years so when I moved Hundreds of thousands of dollars from their bank to my credit union they wanted to know why and if there is anything they could do to keep me as a loyal customer. I am so disappointed in WF! On 9/11/18 I deposited $400.00 in cash in their ATM machine at approx. 7.30 pm at the ******* *** location. It never registered the deposit and the machine was stuck like it had timed out. I hit the cancel button to get the money to come back out of the machine. It did not. I put my card back in, hit deposit again so I could see if the money was stuck in the machine. I couldn't see anything. As a gift to a long time Wells Fargo customer (6 years), Wells Fargo retro billed a fee of $35 on 12/17/18 for a purchase that was "posted" instead of "pended" on 12/14/18 (keeping in mind the funds were transferred into the account the same day before their coveted 9 PM cutoff time) but didn't post said fee to my account until 12/17/2018, leaving my account negative $33. My former company used Wells Fargo for our retirement accounts. I have literally spent 3 weeks trying to get my money out of this horrible bank, to no avail. My money is being held hostage by this bank! The bank on Rosedale hwy in Bakersfield. California I have recently lost my job and due to my property taxes being behind.. I was forced to sale.. Or lose my property. After closing.. Wells Fargo is the worst bank I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with . When I first opened an account there there were always "hidden fees " when I would confront them about the strange charges they would tell me "oh weird that shouldn't have happened " well month after month it happened and so I closed every account I had with them included a long term savings .
