Someone added a phone number to my account through what I suspected was social engineering. Instead of owning up to it, the fraud department lied to me (ironic) and told me my username/password was stolen. A week later, they told me a bank teller added the number to my account. I will never do business with them again. They do not take account security seriously.

I started the process of requesting a disbursement of my 401K retirement plan last week of September 2018. Their process required awaiting mailing of documents to request the disbursement. They assured the documents were going to be forwarded to me from my old address. After realizing it was not forwarded I proceeded to do a change of address which added another 10 days waiting period before they would mail me the documents. This company is a ripoff and the employees scam you out of your money. I recently lost money at an ATM that was not operatable and I tried to advise the workers, which were not helpful. I'm without 200.00 because the ATM took my money and a receipt was not produced as proof.

I have used Wells Fargo since 2013, and have had many problems with the branch in Golden Colorado. The company repeatedly sends me credit lines in the mail but refused to give me a loan for an amount less than the ones I get in the mail, probably due to the fact the ones in the mail have 21% interest rate! Horrible Customer Service when you try calling them asking why they have not sent us the bill for the loan payment and spoke with someone by the name of ******* who was constantly talking down to me and who then gets back at me by putting me on hold for 20 minutes and tells me that there is no supervisor and transfers me to an escalation specialist who was able to inform me of the information that i needed. Horrible service!

Overdraft protection is a complete scam. Wells Fargo is unethically forcing this "service" on their customers - which requires they pay $35 every time they overdraft. There is no way to turn this "service" off, and you will be lucky if you get HALF of ONE fee back. It is not about helping consumers what-so-ever. They won't hesitate to decline you when you swipe your card, but they let reoccurring payments go thru every time. It is 100% about taking money from people. I received an email on 11/2 for promotional financing for 18 months interest free using my Bob’s Furniture credit card thru Wells Fargo, with the offer expiring 11/15. I went to the store with the email as instructed and purchased a complete bedroom set in the amount of about 2399.00. Customer Service is lacking big time. They delayed IRA distributions to a 65 year old for several months. Employees do not have the knowledge that is expected when contacting such a large business concerning investments. Internal control issues, such as management oversize, need to be addressed immediately. I will not be recommending Wells Fargo to my family, friends, or professional peers.
