You cannot trust Wells Fargo, My equity line payment of 151.00 was due on the 7-15-18, which I paid on the 24th; only 9 days late. On the 24th they already had the next payment for 8-15-18 due. I just don't understand how they can apply 8.63 to principle and 142.47 to interesting. So I called to let them know they made an error. I can't believe I was told that the interest amount was due to the 9 days late and included the 151.00 amount due on 8-15-18. I had a car loan with Wells Fargo and when I sold the car and got the pay off amount from them they gave the total amount due to other lending company, then after Well Fargo released the title from me still came after me for a payment due. The collections representative that called me from Wells Fargo even admitted they had made a mistake and still put a delinquency on my credit report. I will never do business with the company again. My husband and I have a business account with wells fargo as well as a personal account. My husband wanted to increase his credit score and was told about the secured business line of credit. The rep for Wells Fargo told him a lie that the money he put in was the money he would be using. "It's your money" He put $5,000 into the secured line of credit. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service!!!! I closed my IRA account that I had with them for a while. Did they even seem to care or apologize to try to keep me? NOPE!

I have been with wells fargo for a few months now and I have encountered quite a few problems. The first was my 16 year old starters checks was stolen and written. Upon opening this account for my child i made it clear that she is not to even have the starters checks. Not once was i even alerted from wells fargo. finally i was able to get this taken care of. I would offer negative reviews if I could. My wife opened an IRA with Strong Investments, which was taken over by Wells Fargo in 2005. They started charging her 30.00 per year on an account with a balance of $1100.00, we finally went to transfer to a different custodian and they want to charge a fee of 95.00 to close the account! We never agreed to them being the custodian in the first place, let alone these terms. Terrible, unethical company. Stay away.

I had (not have, will explain later) a Wells Fargo checking account, has been depositing $500 every month from my work to avoid the monthly service fee, and then pull money out of this account for everyday expenses. Last month, I transferred money out of Wells Fargo to a different bank, a few days later, my account was closed by wells fargo (without any notice). I've been with Wells Fargo since 2006 as a kid. Their service has gone downhill so much that I'm completely embarrassed to still bank with them. When you take a check to the bank and you tell a banker explicit instructions on how to handle the check and they turn around and do it their own way. That's not customer service and how I remember it. Luckily I caught it on a ***** camera so I could show the world Wells Fargo policirs and how they treat their customers especially long time customers.

I signed up with Leaders Merchant Services for a card reader for my small business in April 2018, not realizing that it was actually Wells Fargo. During the sign up process, the salesperson told me there would be a $10 monthly fee. I told him I would have to think about it and call back, because I was just starting my business and was not realizing a profit at that time. He then told me he would waive the fee.
