Wells Fargo's customer service is a joke. I have a non wells-fargo account that I transfer money from twice a month for the last 5+ years, and recently there was a mix up and I tried to transfer money twice from my other bank to my wells fargo and both times the transfer didn't go through. Totally my fault. The second time it failed on 2/14/2018, they sent me a message stating that my non-WF account was suspended. I made a mistake an inadvertently gave out my UN and PW to online scammers. My mistake. I own up to it. When you have a fraud happen to you. Your biggest problem in dealing with WF fraud department. First of all, it is a 25 minute plus wait to talk to anyone. Even WF's staff has the same wait. I did it twice, cost me a hour of my time. There is no other means of communication to them. Ive Been a customer with this company, for over 10 years now and im looking to get out. Wells Fargo's unethical cheating of customers is horrific. For this, the CEO get's a 36% increase in compensation. The fact that *** ***** accepted this exemplifies how unethical the leadership team is at Wells Fargo. It also explains why they are cheating customers across numerous business lines. I will never do business with Wells Fargo again.
I had a very negative experience with Wells Fargo in *********, SC. My mother had done her banking with them for years. When it came time to settle her estate, I was told they didn't waive fees for estate accounts. Therefore, if there was no activity there would be a $30 fee each month. Today was my payday, and so i went to deposit my paycheck at an atm and get some money out for food after I got out of work. For the first time ever none of my money was available and upon calling asking why I couldn't access ANY of the money I had just put into my account I was put on hold then promptly told I couldn't be told why and that id just have to wait until tomorrow to access my money POTENTIALLY, which doesn't really help when I don't have any food for tonight. I am premier customer with Wells Fargo Customer and have been with them for over 25 years. I also run big dollar amounts through in direct deposits and bill payment etc. Lately, like many of the reviews here, Wells Fargo has been losing it. I have been with Wells Fargo for nearly 30 years (and the other banks that they have purchased). This past Wednesday I noticed my credit line has been reduced without notice! After over an hour and going through 4 people - I was told it may have happened because of maybe money laundering or fraud or maybe credit related. Crazy!! Wells Fargo is the worst institution and/or business I have ever dealt with. Corrupt to the core and don't care about their customers. I hope people stand up and this bank is shutdown. This bank has helped a local fraudster rob me from 5,000 dollars and they refuse to help me with the dispute despite the transactions. Every crook in this company deserves what is coming to them.
