Wells Fargo online keeps changing the Posted dates on my purchases and then blames me that I am still responsible for the money remaining in the account since I rely on their tools and online banking system for purchases and balances. The balances are always inaccurate and now I am thinking of switching banks.

Rant on- I’ve been a Wells Fargo business, personal, auto loan, and business credit line customer for 11 years. After constantly being lied to or having terms changed on service fees, reinstating service fees that I was told were gone, after several trips to branches over the years to ‘remedy’ these recurring problems and being assured it was solved, after being part of the class action pay out for having accounts opened in my name- I was notified my account I haven’t been using is overdrawn once again to monthly service fee... read more

I made cheers check to ******** ******* in the amount of $4000 and put it in my mailbox to be mailed the next day. Someone stole the mail earlier this morning and my neighbor found the empty envelope which is addressed to ******** *******. I called Wells Fargo to put stopped payment to the cashiers check and was told by the Wells Fargo representative and his manager and his manager's manager there is nothing can be done not even to add a note saying the cashiers check must be verified before it get cashed. Wells Fargo is a scam. They handle their customers with no regard for what they need. I made a balance transfer and tried to cancel it 4 hours after I did it. Spoke to 3 representatives the day I made the transaction. All said they could cancel it as soon as they could see it in their system. Called Wells Fargo every day after that for 4 days in a row. Still processed the transaction even though I had two cases open for it to be cancelled. Now they say it will take them 90 days to fix the problem that they created in the fir... read more

Its something I have now experienced once again. The dates at which an ACH is posted always seemd to be pre-dated by Wells Fargo one (1) day earlier if funds are not available that day. However a transfer always takes longer to be credited on my checking balance. When I submit an ACH for a credit card payment, it typically takes (1) to (2) business day before it hits my checking account. I had a joint account with my disabled, ailing mother for almost ten years. During the entire time, I had arranged direct deposit of social security into the account and then automatic transfers to distribute to other payment accounts. Last month, the account was closed with no notice due to "inactivity." Wells Fargo explained to me that automatic transfers and direct deposits don't count as activity! I have never had any account or business relationship with Wells Fargo. Last month I received unsolicited a new **** card for an account WF they opened in my name. Have been trying ever since to get it closed, taken off my credit report and get an explanation about who opened it. Customer service keeps saying they will look into it.
