I'm supposed to have dental. There are no dentists in my area that take Wellcare and they won't cover an out of network dentist. I am limited to one clinic and it is a for profit so there is no financial help. After two years they now charge me with 20 percent co insurance on all injections.Customer service is non existent. I have no idea what they are doing until I get a bill for something I thought was fully covered.I wish I'd stayed in FL with my wonderful Humana Gold.

Dealing with these people has been a nightmare! How can you resolve any issues when their customer service representatives don't speak clear English? Even the simplest of answers name, medication, etc. you have to repeat & spell out over & over & over. So far it's been 3 torturous phone calls to get medications I've been on for over 30 years to be approved. Pure h***!

The plan names have changed over the years, but I have been a Wellcare Classic member since 2011. For 2024, I switched to Wellcare Value Script as I was advised by a customer service rep that it would save me money. It was a lie. Since January 1, 2024, Wellcare Value Script has been a nightmare. I have had to discontinue important medications I have been on for years because I now would have to pay almost $200.00 per month for each, instead of my old co-pay of 10.00. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! My husband got the prescription drug plan in October 2023. We have been trying to set up his member portal ever since. It will not work! I have tried phone calls, can barely understand them, and they tell me to do the steps that I have already done for a thousand times. Same thing with their online chats. This is beyond ridiculous and we will be looking to change when the year is up.

**************** is horrible all in the ***********. They put you on hold continually and after nothing has been resolved or answered and hours go by, they drop your call. Then you phone back and start all offer. They promise to send you to a ************* person and they don't. It took me 4 weeks and several hours at least 20 to 30 hours to get a problem solved after many promises. Still not sure if it is fixed. Horrible!
One of the worst member services team I ever encountered in my 65 years. Totally incompetent staff. Unable to resolve the simplest of questions. Always putting you on hold for extended periods of time with hopes you will hang up. If you stay on the line they just pass you around to so many people hoping you will get frustrated and give up. They actually lie to you when you ask for a supervisor. Their accounting is totally incomprehensible and they are unable to explain it. Stay far away.

Wellcare is putting me in a life threatening situation by having declined my doctors pre authorisation form. I was forced to be on WellCare even though I have MassHealth by the state of massachusetts. I did not consent to receiving coverage from them. My MassHealth was covering things fine for me on their own. Now MassHealth will not cover what I need because Wellcare will not cover it, and when I go to Stop and Shop pharmacy to try and pay out of pocket they say they can not fill my script until Wellcare covers it because t... read more
