I am a single senior female on a Medicare Gap plan to which I pay handsomely and I ended up with a substandard drug plan. Wellcare should not be handling seniors healthcare, nor anyone. They don’t run a normal ethical business. I just joined Wellcare. The benefits are better than my previous plan at Humana, but they are next to impossible to use.I am not thrilled that I have to go for a security check each and every time that I log into the account, and when I get into the website, it is dysfunctional. You suck you drop peoples benefits without telling them like my $58.03 times a year for over-the-counter and can’t even get a sonogram that is preventative for breast care without getting charged 500 bucks. **************** reps are giving incorrect info. One experience I was told that my pharmacy was not covered even when it was posted online that it was. After another call, I was told that it was! Now I am trying to find out the most cost effective drug and once again given wrong info. Terribly frustrating customer service especially when it is a struggle to understand *******. Terrible website, very user unfriendly. The telephone help is dreadful. I think English is a third language. The PPO dental care is crap, not a good idea for seniors. I'm going with someone else.
0 stars. They wanted me to pay over $546.00 out of pocket for a monthly Inhaler. They said at the beginning of the year my benefits would resume. Then when I re-orded my Inhaler in January they played a shell game and said I still needed to pay the $546.00+ price and the 2nd month it may be lower. This company is immoral and what they are doing should be illegal. The staff does not speak English well. They should be put out of business. I see multiple other complaints at this site.

Our household is inundated with marketing efforts from this company with wording that suggests my elderly parents are already enrolled in their plans. This feels like predatory practices meant to take advantage of elderly people, not to mention the environmental costs of the incessant mailings.

I enrolled my mom in this program with the reassurance that it would not affect her current care but enhance/supplement her benefits. In December when I couldn't activate the card via the ** code and couldn't get in touch with the assigned PCP, I knew it was going to be a ball of confusion. I tried to disenroll her and was denied because I wasn't listed as her representative, but I was the person who enrolled her.... Asked for a new card for my husband in ISU at arnot hospital in Elmira NY.. they wouldn't send a new card to address on file with out talking to him... explain many time that he was in the hospital.. they do not have phones in ICU..still would not send a card to the address on file..I am trying to change anything just want him to have a new card .
