They are a ripoff company. They say that they use out sourced company to sell their insurance. They take no responsibly that I was lied too badly. I DO NOT recomend them to no one. They do not cover all expenses as a supplimental insurane like I was told. Instead they applogized but they do nothing!!! They have stuck me with a big life changing bill of co-pays. Again they are not BBB accredited and are nothing but a smoke and mirrors ripoff company takeing advantage of older retired people. The one star is so that I can make... read more

WellCare brought me to two different appointments the first time I ever used them on May 3rd (my Dr had to bring me home.. waited over 5 hours in the office) and May 7th (I had to beg somebody a half hour away to come and get me they were not happy).. They say they try and get you a medical cab I found out they are NOT contracted with any medical cabs in my area so they just send Lyft and if you can't get a lift on the way home it's not their problem... that's what they tell you

Never sent my prescription drug card for ********* then started to bill me for "late enrolment".Spoke to the customer no service on 4/15. Requested to speak to the persons superior and was transferred to the "Executive Response Team" who said they would escalate the case to the billing **** and get back to me in 24hours. They didn't, I contacted them on day 3 and was told by the same person on the "Executive Response Team" that he would investigate and get back to me in 24hrs. He didn't get back to me. WellCare was suggested by the Abt Ins. Agency as my Medicare Part D first time selection. I provided the names of my two medications I have been on for the past 8+ years. Prescribed by my same physician that has been my only primary doctor since I moved to Arkansas. WellCare sent me my confirmed program card but the first time I went to get my Rx refilled I was denied because they required pre-authorization which was never mentioned. The Prescription Drug Plan, WellCare Value Script, offered by WellCare Health Plans provides conflicting and misleading information on drug costs. Before enrolling in December, 2023, I used the plan's website to estimate what I could expect my Tier 3 prescription costs to be. Because the costs seemed reasonable, I proceeded to enroll. I did not need to refill my Tier 3 drug prescription until April 18. Beware of Wellcare insurance. I pre-qualified my dental codes with them and they said that they would approve the procedures. After the procedure they refused to pay. Others have had the same experience with them. They changed their contract and are known to reneg on dental procedures. Not an honest company. Find a more reputable company. They are extremely deceptive.

I regret that I enrolled in the WellCare ******** Rx value plus plan. The associate that enrolled me lied that the medications I am currently taking would be less and the prices are more expensive than my past plans medications prices. As soon as open season gets her I will get out of this plan

Should be a zero star rating. Today, I tried to access the web portal - it is loading but never loads. After talking to *****, customer service person, she suggested that I use the web portal. ***** could not tell me if an urgent care provider was in the network from the businesses address and phone number I provided for her. There was no way she could possibly help me before or after placing me on a short - long hold. This is for the Prescription Plans Terrible website (frequently offline, web pages that don't work) - for example I just tried to go paperless in the communications preferences and the website just failed. I contacted one of their chat agents and the problem is on their end and they know about the problem. It's been like that for weeks!They recently changed mail-order fulfillment to ExpressScript. Instead of migrating my data, I had to reenter everything, Even had to have my physician reissue each RX.Very poor customer servi... read more
