Just joined and this is absolutely a nightmare, I wish I had never switched from United health and I cannot wait till this year is over and I can go back!

I'm one month into Medicare coverage. I went with another Plan D Medicare plan in December (my birth month) then became aware that WellCare might be a better option. I enrolled but then decided it would be better to enroll in my retiring companies group Advantage Plan C. I have attempted repeatedly to cancel the WellCare plan before it took affect, so I could meet the January 1st deadline for enrolling in the company plan. Signed up for their Medicare Part D plan, Wellcare Value Script (PDP) to be active Jan. 1st, 2024. When I went to my pharmacy , they could not enter the plan info because the computer said 'The Plan Was NOT Active' . Also, I Called in December to inform them I did not get the plastic member card. They said it was sent in October, a Lie, I never got it. Now their website has a pop-up window telling member card will be sent sometime January 2024. Terrible customer service. Be prepared to be on hold for a long time, only to speak with someone who has limited English skills and will then transfer your call. After waiting a very long time for the transferred call, the prompts do not work. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

I was receiving from the *********** prescription drug coverage assistance through WellCare. I got a notice in early December that I will be charged $35 a month from here on in. I called WellCare and told them I did not want this coverage. I spoke with *** and a few other customer service reps - and they would not - refused to cancel this coverage - after I told them repeatedly that I did not want it They reps were condescending and very unprofessional. They won't leave me alone!!!! Letter after letter after letter. I'm not a member . I never signed up for plan b but I sure got charged for it . Just before Christmas. Now we have plan d and it starts all over again . They sent me my membership card . Welcome to the family. They're in bed with the Government and there's no touching them . Somebody stop these crooks !!!

I signed up for Plan D drug plan on ********.gov. for my wife. This was Nov 30. On Dec 9th wellcare called me and said there was a problem but could not tell me the exact problem. On Monday the 11th they called back and said they had the wrong ******** number. I gave correct number after being transferred 3 times. Lady from *********** called me back several hours later and told me she made a mistake and policy would start Dec 1 instead of Jan 1st. Everything is bad. Representatives are helpful but they can't do anything but transferring you to another rep or department. I went to a specialist. He found that nothing is wrong with my problem and ordered an MRI scan for me. No doctors, Wellcare authorization letters, or the MRI lab mention any co-payment, but later I received a large co-payment bill. That happened a few times in the past (I am a forgetful person). The worst. I mistakenly made a double payment for a premium...they won't pay it back. ******** says to get the money from Welcare since I made the payment directly to Welcare, but ******* says to collect it from ********. What a scam, ******* won't give me my money back, yet they show I have a credit balance!
