Well Care changed my prescription plan without my approval. Now my prescription plan has tripled in cost monthly. I called them and said I WANTED TO CANCEL and they said they sent me a letter saying of the changes which I have never received. I asked to speak to a supervisor to cancel but the customer service said that I was past the enrollment deadline. I still insisted to speak with a supervisor and was on hold for a half hour. WellCare is a scam company. If I could I would give they minus. They ignoring people, calling center are in Filipins and they do not train, those people do not know what they doing. I already call them 3 times and still do not get a results. It is outage how they ignore the people. I would like to know what corrupted government agency and corrupted government official is behind that insurance... This need to be investigated. **** *******

I have a WellCare drug plan, but have switched for next year. They are refusing to fill my specialty drug and the calendar is running out. I have called at least 9 times, insisted on escalation, etc. They have a whole list of incorrect reasons not to ship the drug. It is expensive and I think WellCare doesn't want to cover this last refill. I've spent hours on the phone.

I shopped around for a Medicare Part D plan and chose Wellcare. What I didn't know was that I would face a penalty for not having Part D or any other prescription plan since enrolling in Medicare. The penalty was more than I could afford. I called Wellcare every other day for three weeks and was on hold each time for 2+ hours every time. The most unpleasant experience I have ever had with a insurance company. The talk to me like I am stupid. Could not understand the foreigners on the phone. Very poor customer service. ****** ** ******

On October 31, 2021, I called WellCare to make a payment that was due, but their system was not working, and no one was available to take the payment, even though their messaging system said they were there on Sundays. Therefore, I called back on November 1, 2021, and an agent with WellCare took a payment from me which he confirmed paid my account until December. He assured me the account was reinstated. I have attempted to cancel my wife and my Wellcare prescription drug policy for several days. I was on the phone several times and several hours,I talked to four reps that had a poor command of English, the last rep stated she couldn't cancel us, however someone would call us the next day and help us. nobody has ever called. This is the worst experience I have ever had. You call customer service and get bumped around and put on hold because no one knows what they are doing. In September I was told I was disenrolled from the program due to non-payment. I have a 3rd party who helps with my premium. They show that all payments were made. After speaking with them at the end of September I was told I would automatically be re-instated. Wonderful! Wellcare lied by omission, they did not tell me that presciption drugs are NOT COVERED!!!!
