The absolute worst RX plan for Disabled or Seniors on Medicare. When you call, your call does indeed go to the Philippines. I don't have a problem with that. What I have a problem with is that they pretend to know better English than they do. They say they understand, but then come up with something totally different than what you need help with. Billing department is NOT helpful. A over payment was made and they state a refund has been issued to SSA. I have contacted Social Security Administration and they tried several ways to find the refund, they can not find it. I have also contacted Medicare incase the refund ended up there , they also cannot find it. Wellcare cannot or will not provide the details of where it sent the refund except to Social Security Administration. Member made a payment back in 10/28/2020 in the amount of $41.40. At the time members premium was $13.80 per month and had an effective date of 10/01/2020, member was on direct self pay for only that one month. Members PWO changed to SSA deductions as of 11/01/2020. The $41.40 paid for Octobers 2020 premium which then left a credit on the acct of $27.60. A refund in that amount was issued to ... read more
Wellcare changed my husband's plan without notification or approval. We received no correspondence either by mail, email or phone. They tripled his premium! We found out from. Medicare when they sent out 2022 notices in January. Wellcare claims they mailed info out. Funny my rx plan both mail and emails any changes in plans. Not this deceptive company. I am on Medicare and permanently disabled. This company offered a numerous amount of benefits that they have failed to provide or assist me and receiving any benefits that I am entitled to. I have spoke to approximately 25 agents from the company to no avail no benefits have been received. I have spent nearly 40 hours by phone interacting with customer service to continue to pay out of pocket for all of my services rendered. I had a similar experience as many other people reported on here. I as able to catch my premium increase from $23 a month to $68 a month before it went into effect, or so I thought. I called them on Nov 30, 2021 and today, 2/8/22, I have made my 26th phone call to straighten the issue out. They are taking the incorrect premium amount out of my account and I still cannot get the correct offshore person to pick up a book with a different script in it. Can't wait until I can cancel this coverage.

I am new to Medicare and joined WellCare ValueScript in January 2022. My premium is $ 13.00 per month, totaling $ 156.00 per year. On 1/16/2022, after approval of my application by Medicare, I paid $ 156.00 (2022 - 2023). Wellcare doesnt even register a vote. After 6 calls i still have no answer to whether i get Healthy Rewards with my PPO plan. Was told i would, but when i give them my # nothing comes up. They said someone would get back to me, and whoever he was - 2 weeks later, he garbled his response and told me to call member services. Did that again - after 20 minutes, girl said she would connect me with a specialist - waited again, and they hung up on me!! Cant find a simple answer. Forget about canceling this insurance in a timely manner. You can only reach the call center in the Philippines and when they say they will escalate it to the complaint department. That's basically their supervisors at the call center. I have spent at least 6 hours on the phone with them trying to cancel the insurance and everyone gives you a different story. My coupon book says $12 payment per month. I signed up with them and paid the $144 per year in full. They have been calling me and calling me telling me I signed up after the enrollment period and that I owe a penalty. I paid in full on December 14, 2021. It wasn't due until the first 1 January. I have been on the phone with five different people escalating from supervisor to someone higher up in that and no one can tell me why I am a penalty. And now they say I owe $74 a month not 14 starting now. It's a total scam
