Horrible company always having some tech issue can hardly get anyone on the phones. Hang up more often than not, and have no idea how to pair you with a Dr. I've yet to see a Dr or dentist in network because they seem unable to locate any. I've been to several they suggest and always get turned away. This ins is useless.
Drug Plan Customer Service is the worst in this domain of health care coverage. Poor coverage - and then when I wanted to cancel my coverage at year's end after numerous written and calls to their Customer Service number - still not able to get to someone in the company to cancel my coverage! I get dunning letters that I must pay up or they will dis-enroll me - ****, I want to cancel coverage - why won't they allow me to do that? I wrote three letters to cancel. Dishonest Non caring, Company. I filed for a value prescription plan. I was put on their premium plan. When I tried to correct their mistake they turned me over to a work-at -home agent who could care less about my case. I have heard the same prepared script read to me several times. I have dealt with two different agents that have lied to me continuously. Medicare even sent Wellcare messages asking them to put me on the value plan and they ignored it. They are a terrible company. They lie to you to get you to join . They don't send out any information about your account. They will send you a booklet about everything but not your policy. They told me I would get the give back of 90.00 to my part B. Spent a hour on the phone with social security and they said they have no record of it. Then WellCare said I didn't qualify for it since I was getting the prescription plan. They never said a word about to me. I work for a medical providers office as an administrative coordinator. More than one patient has contact WellCare to request information about their plans and were automatically signed up for a Medicare Advantage plan though this company. Strangely effective dates were February 1, 2022 which is outside the open enrollment period. How does this happen? One star is too high. WellCare has eventually processed and reimbursed claims. That is a good thing. Trying to get specific information about claims is an extremely frustrating experience. Long wait times (over an hour) Constantly disconnected when on hold, calls are NEVER returned, wrong information is routinely given, waiting for a supervisor can be over an hour on hold, obviously understaffed. So tired of INSURANCE GREED "ruining/trying to run some" of our Medicare Advantage Insurance companies! If these CEO's earned an honest wage; Not like the excessive over the top wages paid! Everything in the other reviews is true. The worst company I have dealt with ever! I have filed complaint with Medicare using phone number on back of card. I will not stop until they are delisted. Still owes me $900 from last Feb 2021. Lies after lies. Don't enroll. Danger... Danger. I'm serious.
Well Care should be renamed we don't care. There are long holds, the reps are not knowledgeable and don't seem to competent to provide accurate reaponses. I have called numerous times sometimes for the same issue to be bounced from dept. to dept. The rep today told me she had a long day and preceded to put on a indefinite hold. Time is valuable and they don't seem to care about the concern on you. Transportation is even worse. They didn't show for three out of the four scheduled rides.
