Wellcare doesnt even register a vote. After 6 calls i still have no answer to whether i get Healthy Rewards with my PPO plan. Was told i would, but when i give them my # nothing comes up. They said someone would get back to me, and whoever he was - 2 weeks later, he garbled his response and told me to call member services. Did that again - after 20 minutes, girl said she would connect me with a specialist - waited again, and they hung up on me!! Cant find a simple answer. Shouldn't someone know what is in each type of policy... read more

Forget about canceling this insurance in a timely manner. You can only reach the call center in the Philippines and when they say they will escalate it to the complaint department. That's basically their supervisors at the call center. I have spent at least 6 hours on the phone with them trying to cancel the insurance and everyone gives you a different story. In the meantime, the people that are disabled can not get services because their insurance doesn't cover much. You call and they disconnect you time and time again, in ... read more

Hello Mr.****, I have reached out to you via e-mail for additional information needed to investigate your concerns. Please allow me some time to investigate, and I will get back to you ASAP. Thank you.
My coupon book says $12 payment per month. I signed up with them and paid the $144 per year in full. They have been calling me and calling me telling me I signed up after the enrollment period and that I owe a penalty. I paid in full on December 14, 2021. It wasn't due until the first 1 January. I have been on the phone with five different people escalating from supervisor to someone higher up in that and no one can tell me why I am a penalty. And now they say I owe $74 a month not 14 starting now. It's a total scam
Stay clear of WellCare. They do not pay claims to providers and trying to contact them is a nightmare. Providers will bill you because WellCare does not pay them. Not even worth one star.

We apologize for your experience, however we were unable to locate you as a member, we attempted to contact by email provided, with no response.
Fraudulently overcharges. Makes it hard to get ahold of a Us rep, leaving you on hold a long time, then disconnects. Contact your senator to report any fraud.
When the reup period took place in October of 2021 for my RX plan I was told that the plan I was on would remain the same and my premium would be $23.20 a month. But when they took the premium out of my bank account this month to start the renewal it was $68.90 so I called to find out why it was so high. I thought they had made a mistake. I was told the plan I was on was no longer available so they put me on a different one but I was not notified this was done so I wanted to cancel the plan and was told they could not do so ... read more

we apologize for your experience, however, Every year before the AEP (Annual Enrollment Period) from October 15 to December 7, Plan mailed all current members an ANOC/EOC Kit (Annual Notice of change/ Evidence of Change). The ANOC letter provides a side-by-side comparison of current year and New Year benefits. CMS requires the ANOC to be in the member's hand on or before September 30. If member did not contact the plan during AEP to make plan changes, there is nothing the plan can do. The plan cannot grant member an extensio... read more
This company bought my prescription drug plan from Aetna. After the first year, and just before Medicare's Open Enrollment Period, they send me a 20 page finely printed booklet. I get this type of legalese from auto insurance companies; so I file it but do not read it. That is exactly what they were hoping for. Deep inside the booklet was their notice of changing my insurance plan to one that increases my monthly premium by 340%. No other warning was made. I mistakenly assumed my plan would remain unchanged. The enrollment p... read more
Worst company ever!! Signed up during Medicare enrollment period and didn't know how bad this company is. Now I am uninsured because it's past the enrollment period. Tried for a week to contact Wellcare via phone and email to no avail. My doctor's office ultimately informed me that my prescriptions would not be filled because they also could not contact Wellcare (they also tried many, many times. I wish I could give less than a one star...they deserve a "0". I am reporting them to Social Security and Medicare.
Business response:
