Very unhappy with this insurance company thus far! I have there insurance coverage for myself and have not had a problem.. but I literally have been working on enrolling my dad since the beginning of last yr (supposibly *******) the intake representative did not do his job he went through whole plan which would be most beneficial for my dad wrote everything down he gave is ref number for call (which supposedly didn't exist) when i called to check on status in hopes no bumps in the road they told me they dud not see he was an... read more

Poor communication. Have to call numerous times for same issue. They keep calling me regarding managed care when I dont have any medical problems their phone calls have disturb me while I work and I have repeatedly asked them not to phone me.

They sent 3 letters in a row.. I did not sign up for this Horrible company... There letters are very misleading.. They have out of Country reps for there custermer service.. Resear ch is all im saying..

WellCare shouldn’t have care in their name because they don’t care at all. They don’t return phone calls. They lie and say my Drs office did not fill out the forms they requested. My Drs office sent 4 forms and each time WellCare said that my Drs office did not say why I needed this medication. WellCare ask very personal questions when it’s not none of their business. When you call them they put you on hold anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes. A lot of calls got dropped. Had to call back several times. Their customer service p... read more

If I could give lower I would. Dental and vision are useless, when I asked them about why their card failed they refused to respond for over 8 months. Sent them a letter, and filled out the online contact form, no response. Filed multiple complaints with ******** and also received no response. Only method that worked to contact them is the online chat. The people there have no resources to assist so they are useless.

My mother has been a member since July 2022. As her oldest daughter, I handle everything for my mom. I also work in insurance. My mother (the member) has given verbal consent for WellCare to speak with me on MULTIPLE times. However, each time we call, we are told that my name is not on her account to speak to me concerning her health care needs. So, we downloaded the form from the website, faxed it to WellCare twice, next time we called. Same thing. We then requested paperwork be mailed to use to fill out and send back. On F... read more

DOES NOT PAY PROVIDER CLAIMS, WILL NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS FROM PROVIDERS, AND WILL NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS OR EMAILS TO OUR WELLCARE REP AS WELL. WILL NOT RESPOND TO CLAIM INQUIRIES ON THEIR PORTAL EITHER. COMPLETE DISSATISFACTION WITH THEIR COMPANY. NO CLAIMS GETTING PAID, ABOUT TO DROP THEM

This company is awful. I signed up through my insurance rep for Wellcare Part D drug coverage.I have sent 2 different EFTforms to them, one by mail and one on-line. They keep trying to send the EFTthru as a checking account. I clearly have marked saving account. Do not attempt to contact them on the phone, you end up with someone overseas. There is clearly a language barrier issue. I did get someone in US when I asked to be transferred, they were no help either. The members set up EFT on 9/15/2022 using ******************************* with account ending in ****, this EFT was canceled. * The account shows that the member went online through the member portal and set up another EFT that has a start date of 11/1/2022 using the same bank, however with this one it does have an (S) in front if the account ending in ****. * This means that the premium will be deducted from the members Savings account. * EFT will not draft until December between the 15th and 20th and every month going forw... read more

Wellcare doesn't listen. When you try to update them with changes they tell you they can't pull up the account. They argue with you and act like they don't know the answers to questions you ask. We have had nothing but issues even canceling enrollment
