WellCare shouldn’t have care in their name because they don’t care at all. They don’t return phone calls. They lie and say my Drs office did not fill out the forms they requested. My Drs office sent 4 forms and each time WellCare said that my Drs office did not say why I needed this medication. WellCare ask very personal questions when it’s not none of their business. If I could give lower I would. Dental and vision are useless, when I asked them about why their card failed they refused to respond for over 8 months. Sent them a letter, and filled out the online contact form, no response. Filed multiple complaints with ******** and also received no response. Only method that worked to contact them is the online chat. The people there have no resources to assist so they are useless.
My mother has been a member since July 2022. As her oldest daughter, I handle everything for my mom. I also work in insurance. My mother (the member) has given verbal consent for WellCare to speak with me on MULTIPLE times. However, each time we call, we are told that my name is not on her account to speak to me concerning her health care needs. This company is awful. I signed up through my insurance rep for Wellcare Part D drug coverage.I have sent 2 different EFTforms to them, one by mail and one on-line. They keep trying to send the EFTthru as a checking account. I clearly have marked saving account. Do not attempt to contact them on the phone, you end up with someone overseas. The members set up EFT on 9/15/2022 using ******************************* with account ending in ****, this EFT was canceled. * The account shows that the member went online through the member portal and set up another EFT that has a start date of 11/1/2022 using the same bank, however with this one it does have an (S) in front if the account ending in ****. * This means that the premium will be deducted from the members Savings account. * EFT will not draft until December between the 15th and 20th and every month going forw... read more
Wellcare doesn't listen. When you try to update them with changes they tell you they can't pull up the account. They argue with you and act like they don't know the answers to questions you ask. We have had nothing but issues even canceling enrollment
I have what seems to be tendonitis in my arm and now an issue in that shoulder. My doctor requested an MRI. Wellcare would not authorize the MRI from my Doctor because he is a general practitioner. But they took about 10 days to not authorize. And that was with me bugging them. They should have done that on day one. But their people are not trained. So my doctor sent to the Ortho. Run as far away from this company as possible. They rip you off on pricing,never deliver on time, no customer service at all. You call about a problem they hang up on you. Prices are never the same you can buy thru single care cheaper. The worse company in the world. STAY AWAY.
Worst customer service! On the line now for over an hour and they keep saying the same thing over and over. Last week on the line with them for 90 minutes! So incompetent! They need to work with the help team to give them better information. Polite but still cannot solve why my coverage stopped when I applied for a higher plan with better coverage. I paid the premium, which they acknowledge, but still say the new plan won't start till payingeven though I am still paying for the old plan.
