DONT DO IT!!! You’ve been warned. Worst Customer service reps that you cannot even understand due to their accents! They were no help for my mother in law who got terminated bc of missed payment due to change of address.(she has dementia and forgot to pay bc she wasn’t getting her statements in the mail) Her husband and son passed away and that was the reason for her moving. They wouldn’t consider reinstating her. The death of a loved one or address change were not “good enough” reasons to reinstate. Wowww!!! Thank goodness ... read more

I cant stand wellcare. But I must have prescription drug coverage and they have a good plan. I have Parkinsons disease. My big issue with them is their worse than bad customer service. If Mr B. wants to have his company represented by the type of customer service people that he now allows to be hired then he is going to pay for these idiots in lost sales. Mr Budick I challenge you to be am under boss and go to the trenches and spy on your customer service staff. You will be surprised.

Because of my job I have relocated several times and have had different ******** providers. WellCare is by far the worst. There were hardly any doctors in the network (in **************) when I needed services. I had to travel almost one hour to find a podiatrist who was in network and it was the shadiest doctor's ****** I've ever been to. Hideous company. I tried to sign up when I retired and they said I had to wait until October. They didn't even understand what a qualifying event was. After three emails and multiple tries with customer service they finally figured it out. I then set up an account online. When I tried to log in 2 years later the system said my account was closed due to inactivity and to create a new account. I tried to do that and the system said my account was already in the system. WellCare refuses to make an adjustment to my claim that they themselves process incorrectly. They auto assigned a PCP other than my real PCP on my member’s card. Because WellCare did so, instead of correcting the issue and paying a small amount of money for two vaccinations, they have chosen to push the payment obligation on me the member. Both vaccinations are included in my benefits with no copay. Run away from this company! Do NOT purchase a policy from them. Their customer service is terrible, and they triple monthly plan fees after you sign up. My husband had to call three times to disenroll from the plan. Wellcare makes it very difficult to cancel coverage. We were on the phone for almost two hours and given multiple excuses as to why he could not cancel. I have received a robocall from Wellcare EVERY week, if not more, for someone who doesn't even own my phone number. I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THIS INSURANCE!!!!!! This phone number is registered on the Do-Not-Call list. Why am i getting harassed. I called customer service to only talk to someone I can't understand to take my number off of your call list. Guess what. The next day I get another robocall from Wellcare. Absolutely insane the amount of times this company calls and that I can't get this issue resolved.

I enrolled with WellCare told them who my Dr’s where and salesman said yes you in-network then made appointments get at my Dr’s office said we don’t except your plan. I had to pay $300.00 out of my money just to get a refill, if not could gone through detox. I turned in my receipt to them along with forms twice. Never got my reimbursement. They are a SCAM and dishonest please do not deal with WellCare

They don't have customer service. They have customer dis-service. They insist on their automated line to talk to (only) the customer. Do they realize that many of their 'customers' might be unable to communicate? My father is in late stage alzheimers and i'm his guardian. But you can't talk with them unless you call a totally different number and go crazy with pressing zero and asking for 'representative'. And even then, its hard to get someone alive on the line.
