For twenty nine days we experienced a new activity every day. The challenge of visiting the 'town centers' on our golf cart was an exciting accomplishment. Our house was beautiful and conveniently located. Over all, it was a wonderful vacation.
Aside from a couple of small maintenance issues, house is nice, clean and well furnished.
Our first address had issues. We were offered an upgrade which was extremely pleasant except for the grill cover that ripped in the wind while we were there. We booked Otter Lane again for January 2018 as we loved it so much. The Villages gouged us an additional $50.00 for resident status. Still, we found all VIR personnel extremely polite and helpful.
Our rental home was beautiful and well maintained. It was close to Eisenhower Regional Center and Brownwood/Paddock Square as well as the Grand Traverse shopping mall. The golf cart provided was in very good condition but unfortunately there was little gas in it. I bought a 2 gallon gas can to get fuel and left it for the next renter or the owner. Renting this property was a very enjoyable experience. The property was clean and well equipped. All appliances worked well. Refrigerator and stove were clean, Well stocked with linens and towels. Golf cart was charged and ran well. We will definitely rent this house again.
Nice Overall but at least three requests were made to have the spa working were ignored. Contact from VIR would have been nice. VIR was useless at responding to any requests we had. Would NOT recommend VIR in teh future.
This vacation rental has it all! The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. The kitchen has anything you could ever need and then some. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your stay. The lanai is private and cozy with a heater for chilly days and an electric awning to use for rainy days. The pool is small but perfect to take a dip, the only negative is that it is solar heated which isn't very warm in the winter. We had a great time, alway great visiting the villages. This was our third time. Rental property was in a nice & quiet location. Easy access in & out of neighborhood to main areas and also with golf cart which we used most of the time . Except to the square of Brownwood, we drove there.. The house it's self was in great condition. Needs a little update on the furniture , can tell it been sat in a lot , pretty uncomfortable to sit in. But that's an easy fix..
The total stay was truly awesome. The house is amazing the VIR group is first class. We will be back for sure!
