Great place! Great experience! I really liked the experience of renting with the VIR group! The property was great and the VIR group was great!
These accommodations were excellent and we all were very pleased with selection of this rental. The only caveat to being totally blown away by this experience was that there was no hair dryer on site for the ladies to use but this was resolved with one being eventually being provided. The "coffee maker" was not a conventional style (a single serve latte machine) so it was a daily struggle to keep up with the early morning demands for caffeine. Other than these 2 comments I would give this place a perfect score.
Enjoying The Villages. Our rental experience with VIR was superior. From the moment we unlocked the door - it was high class. Clean, well-appointed, thoughtful, beautiful "spa" music playing on the TVs, fluffy towels, beautiful bedding, and on and on. Our great first impression was never diminished.
Nice, bright villa with great outdoor area. This villa worked very well for us. It was furnished nicely and we loved the screened in outdoor area. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. It would have been nice to have a queen bed in the second bedroom instead of a full bed for our guests. Also, the entrance to this group of villas is right off of Morse Blvd. so it was often difficult to get out onto that busy street. We spent January and February at 2116 New Haven Lane. the villa was generally very clean and well-equipped, including a golf cart. We liked the location - close to Brownwood, the dog park, and several golf courses and recreation centers. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly for dog walking. The VIR staff was very responsive in answering questions and addressing concerns.
Guest Comments: 1. Electric Golf Cart didn't function properly. Contacted VIR. Was told they weren't responsible for golf cart according to the contract. Never did get the golf cart fixed. 2. Upon our arrival we discovered the blanket in the master bedroom was falling apart. Little pieces would fall off each time the bed was made. Contacted VIR by phone and was told they would order blanket. Went to office the next week several days later to show picture of tattered blanket. Was told they would order blanket. We had a very enjoyable month at The Villages. This house worked out very well for us and VIR even had a small 'welcome" package for our dog.
What started as a disaster ended in a delightful experience. While on our way to Florida The VIR Group contacted us to let us know that the rental we had a deposit on was no longer available as a competitor had removed the lock from the house and had the owner switch companies mid-season. VIR quickly stepped up and immediately found us a suitable replacement in another rental. The VIR staff worked hard and found our new rental which had just been assigned to them.
